IDW's Reprints of Titan Transformers

After a long travel day, just a quick one before I sack out--here's the cover to the first issue of our TRANSFORMERS series that reprints the Titan U.K.-only Magazine stories (U.K. stories, hence the so-clever addition of the extra "u" in this entry's subject, get it? If not, I blame the jet lag.). Set before the movie and functioning as a bit of a companion piece/lead-in to our Movie Sequel, THE REIGN OF STARSCREAM, these comics will each offer two magazine tales per issue. Cover art and colors by the great Nick Roche and equally great Josh Burcham.

Interesting! I guess that means #7 ties into Reign Of Starscream then.

I always assumed there would be a good chance of that with Simon keeping IDW in the loop as to what he was doing with Titan.

I look forward to this, didn't buy the UK or any IDW movie comics. I thought it would have been a paperback. Is it going to be bi-monthly or something? There can't be that much material?

It'll be monthly and at the moment by my reckoning they would use Titan issues 1-8 (which would segue nicely into Reign of Starscream) so four issues worth.

Depends on demand I guess but I imagine they will but probably after Reign of Starscream.

But will it still work in the small format US comic book style? IDW's reprints of the Marvel UK comics didn't in my opinion.
