TESCO has a third off Star Wars toys. I was almost tempted by a Snowtrooper until I realised that would be the start of slippery slope.

I found the most amazing thing in Home Bargains out near the parentals units. Dump bins full of Grand Moff Tarkin marbles.
That's right. PETER CUSHING MARBLES.
Naturally I had to own one. There was no choice.

Found some Clone Wars stuff reduced to £4 each. I bought the Yoda figure.

I know. Better than £8 though.. The Dooku, Anakin and Obi Wan figures are a lot bigger. The Yoda has a certain charm about it,
Speaking of which, I saw the same wave of Star Wars in Tescos but different packaging and with playing cards. They were also at £8 each...

I don't usually buy SW figures, but I had to make an exception for Admiral Ackbar! Bit of a shame he doesn't come with a seat though.

Is that the Ackbar keychain as seen on Stardub?
I recentley purchased a Count Dooku complete with gloomy Clone Wars expression and all. It features a detatchable lighning hand too.

This is proper action figure Ackbar, not the LEGO keychain.

25% off SW toys in Sainsburys. While browsing the action figures, my mind was quietly blown by the wee R2-D2...with lights and sounds! I didn't expect that for a figure at that price-point so on impulse I picked him up. And a half-price ESB t-shirt too. Hurray.

There's been a few electronic R2's over the years. Must go and see as my nephew would like one.

I see. I don't follow Star Wars toys generally so it was new to me. Cool wee thing though. I also picked up a Vader on sale on impulse, having never owned one as man or boy. Now Ackbar has someone to fight.

Jonathan stole my brand new all singing all dancing "vintage carded" R2-D2 this morning. While he is out I have stolen it back but I've been out and bought him an electronic one in the Saga Legends range.
I've looked at this today and it's currently a top range of figures:
Electronic R2D2 C3P0 Han Hoth Luke Snowspeeder Pilot Chewbacca 3 flavours of Clone Trooper Battle Droid twin pack.
That's superb!`

Phil now owns a grey Y-Wing pilot. And an R5-D4 made from build-a-droid parts. Huzzah!

Jonathan loves his electronic R2-D2. It's his first Star Wars figure. He keeps signing robot.
Curiously my first Star wars figure was also R2D2. Except that mine came on a card which said Palitoy and had 12 figures on the back.
Lego Ackbar needs company. Do I pay for Lego Mon Calamari troops?

You did. I could be tempted if it is still on offer after payday. Depends on how costs work out for the April trip!

I checked the one Tesco I know that sells toys. No AT-AT's. For the best. I really couldn't afford one anyway what with holidays, etc coming up.

No new vehicles in TRU. Occasional flurries of figures to keep Yarna Dal Gargan and Ak Rev Today Philip discovered that the actress that played Yarna Dal Gargan was in Doctor Who: Marco Polo!

Saw a vintage Stormtrooper figure in TRU. Yay. Been years since I saw a Stormtrooper in a shop. I balked at the £9 asking price though.

I saw the Vintage Y-Wing in TRU. I think it was £40.
Vintage carded SW figures have popped up in ASDA. Those in the know can say what wave. The date on the cards was 2011 and I grabbed a Degobah Luke for Uncle Phil. £7.77 each.
