Back on topic, I had actually completely forgotten that this show existed until the thread had revived. How odd. Also odd that no new show ever came along to replace it.

I suspect that the lack of a new show might represent an uncertainty of where they want to position GI:Joe as a brand. They had a delayed live-action movie in the works, and the A-Team Lite version of Renegades didn't really seem to get any traction. It may just be that they don't really know what to do with the property in the cartoon series arena.

A little late to the game (well, a decade) but working my way through this series and really enjoying it. It has a decent level of threat to each episode and is very engaging. Im just hoping that the plot is resolved in the end.

I did give it a re-watch a few months ago when I found it on Roku TV. I do enjoy the show as a modern A-Team cartoon, just with added ninjas, so much so that the episode where they first introduce Zartan and the Dreadnoks seems to be very inspired from a season 1 A-Team episode "Black Day at Bad Rock."

It's Roku that I'be discovered it on too! Still working my way through and enjoying it. But I hope there is a resolution come series end...
