And I've done it again...this time I decided to do a bit of weathering given how white this guys' armor is...I figured flying around in that Flying Armor would leave a few marks :-) Pete

Will it ever stop? Sorry for the bad picture quality - my digital camera's battery is charging... but rest assured that the RX-78-2 is also panel lined and weathered... Pete ps - and no, the lighting on that beam rifle is not painted on...at least not real paint...it's virtual MS Paint :-)

No pics as of yet, but I'm building the good ol' Ingress Militia Mobile Suite known as the Mustachoed one, or Turn-A Gundam :-)
This is my second time building this MG kit, and since I'm no longer a novice at this, I have the feeling this one will come out much better. My old one was catastrophically badly panel lined with a permanent marker - this one will live up to the "White Doll" name (dag - this Gundam has a million different names!)... plus, I've managed to do a good job with the green rub on decal on his helment :-)
pictures forthcoming..

Beast Saga chaps have appeared from the Death Fortress. I suspect a war between them and the LEGO People is inevitable.

There were quite nice little figures. The Swallow was probably the winner in terms of his looks - with the Elephant with his massive shoulder cannon and night-vision goggles probably a close second.

Reacquired my old homemade farmhouse and animals, some of my sisters old Sylvanian Families and some Care Bears off my folks to pass onto Blaise.
Also came into ownership of all my nephews old 2002 released GI Joe stuff. Have no idea what half of it is, but the crown jewel is the large Night Attack Helicopter with all the trimmings!

Question. Do we still need this thread when there is a full board for non-TF acquisitions?

Grabbed Mumm-Ra, Wily-Kat and Wily Kit all for £1.25 ea in Tescos today. I guess this thread works as a misc thing without having to start an individual thread for everything going. I can live without it though. The only other toylines I really dip into are TMNT and CB and there's threads for those already. I say if anything, this works for miscellaneous stuff (Adventure Time etc) and Pete's large Gundam photos Perhaps the thread title could be reworked as 'misc acquisitions' or something. There's a backlog of fun stuff in here and I'd be disappointed if it got shut down.

Retro Bedtime Bear and Cheer Bear for Blaise. She seems to really like the 80's Care Bear figure line, and has Tenderheart, Love-a-lot and Wish Bear thus far.

Not a fan of the Wing Zero myself, (I lean more towards liking the disposable enemy red-shirt mecha in Gundam shows most of the time. Flags, Goufs, Leos that clunky kind of thing - oh, and Guntank because... well... Guntank needs no explanation and neither is one possible) but that does look like a very good kit rendition of it.

Well, there is a gouf behind him :-) I guess I like Wing mecha because I don't see them as Gundams per se, but just a team of stylized super robots. I happen to Iike the aesthetic and the gimmicks. Shenlong's dragon arm is a case in point. That said, I look forward to building anime Wing :-)

I purchased two of the figures from The Hobbit line. Thorin and Bilbo, both pretty darn good.

Tescos coupon again meant a Legolas acquisition too.
Recently won classic Care Bears: the Grumpy one(?), Swiftheart Rabbit and Braveheart Lion. Blaise really likes these and has a small collection building.

Scored a pretty decent Action Force Command Centre today plus a not bad W.H.A.L.E and 2 tanks. Combined with last years Action Force buys I have a pretty large collection of a toy line I have no interest in.
The command centre would be pretty cool for Actionmasters though.

Received as a birthday present yesterday, I am now the proud owner of Super Guardiron from Brave.I haven't yet assembled the combined form but I have been playing around with the component robots and there are such fun. I love the power-up backpacks with the flip down helmets and the inndividual members are simple but satisfying to transform and have great chunky vehicle modes.
