The second wave of toys have been found in B&M now, all except the TARDIS. Time to search again.
I gave in on looking for the history 9&10 sets this week and went to eBay. Cost twenty quid over retail for the pair, but it's done. Sigh.

Never saw the first wave. I am resigned to paying over the odds for the Dalek and TARDIS sets on ebay after Chrimbo. At least I'll be able to get the Triple Dip McGann set from b&m online.

Having searched a number of stores up here and never seen anything but the 3-packs, I do have to wonder if they ever made it to the shops at all, or if in most places the cases immediately go to eBay sellers.

There is a notorious 'fan' who literally buys up individual stores stock direct from staff so they never even hit shelves, posts boastful pictures of this on social media and judges his actions by saying he is "providing a service for the fans".

I used to think it was random where the Dalek sets turned up, but I'm starting to think there's some kind of internal logic known only to B&M about how these things are distributed. I checked my 'best hope' B&M on the way home tonight, bit out of the way for me, but found they had the new three figure sets in but not the Daleks. No shelf ticket, no evidence for them at all. Yet other stores around the country have had both. Why if shops are getting the three figure packs are they not getting the Daleks too? We will never know, but the fact the three packs are on the B&M website but the Daleks show as in store only suggests there are just fewer of them.
It's just frustrating to read on GB how in some shops, the Daleks sets 9 and 10 are practically shelf warming, when so many stores didn't get them at all.

Bitter-sweet victory in B&M this evening. I went to my usual and found one solitary Creation of the Daleks set on the shelf, so I bagged it quick. No shelf ticket for the History sets, but that shop has never had them anyway. I'm not sure the woman at the till would remember the previous conversations I've had with her in the past, but as I was buying she said, "Your competition was in here earlier. He bought five of these."
I just replied by saying, "And now they'll be on eBay at fifty quid each. It makes collecting this line so difficult."
"Oh I know," she said.
Not her problem, nothing she can do about it. But I assume the Davros/Dalek set is six in a case and the scalper topped out at £150 quid's worth, leaving that one. The Thirteenth set seems popular too - I've only seen two of those on shelves, but the Ninth Doctor set is easily available. There are TONS of the Tennant set shelf warming, and a few Eighth sets at the back. I think I'm waiting on reductions on those.
Anyway, small win. Davros set off the list. If anyone's about this weekend in a B&M I'm looking for the Dalek History 11 and 12 sets - Genesis and Destiny.

Oooh - that is a NASTY website. I went to visit the page again and the "Add to basket" button was enabled, and I thought, hooray! they're back in stock. So I hit "Add to basket"... and it said "sorry, not in stock". Stupid site.

Yes. The word was that the Dalek sets were never going to be available online but everything else was, so it's disappointing to see the 9th, 13th and TARDIS sets haven't made it there either. The new Eccleston head and the much better paint job on the Rose figure makes that set appealing, and the Movie 8th figure has a much much better paint job than the original. That may also be a pick up. Don't think I need the 13th set just for Yaz mk2. Not unless they're knocking about for a tenner in a few months.
