Went to the Kilmarnock B&M yesterday. Bugger all Doctor Who stuff. Not even the Dalek Bobbler things. What a cursed place that is...

I know the TARDIS is used to rough landings, but bloody hell Evri launched mine over our 6ft garden gate this afternoon. Found it in the garden when I went to put the rubbish out. What's worse is that B&M sent it in a very thin cardboard box with no internal padding at all. It was rattling around inside. Fortunately it seems okay but I've not tested the electronics yet.
Just need Dalek History 11 & 12 now.

Dalek History 11 & 12 in today. I'm pleased with these as I managed to get each set for £24, only £2 more than retail. Lucky moment on eBay. Not so much for the seller.

A much smaller selection than in recent years, but I don't mind that now. These things are an arse to get. Those who know say the Resurrection set will be next year like the way sets 5-8 were jumbled to avoid repetition.

That info has stock codes and prices from B&M's system, but Al Dewar has subsequently appeared on a forum to say some of the names are now out of date.

They've made a pretty fundamental error with that one... Interesting that it's all classic stuff. Any hint of any nunuWho figures coming? You'd have thought that this would be the sort of thing they'd be trying to get out, given the 60th and the new series and all. But then if they're following Mattel's business practices that'd be too crazy an idea... |

There is some discussion that although B&M have downsized a little, there is other Character Options stuff coming from other avenues. There will absolutely be a Ncuti figure at the very least. Sensible thinking is that the Five Doctors two pack will be a Hurndall first Doc with the Dalek from that story. Given some of the three packs have shelf warmed for the last two years, B&M seem to have settled for the idea that Daleks, TARDISes and Tom Baker is what sells. The Deadly Assassin pack is an easy one to do - reissue of the Master from that story as that was first in the original retail wave way back when, then do a head swap on the Traken Tom and lose the waistcoat, then stick a Tom head on the Timelord body. I'm intrigued by the idea that the Bronze/Sec pack is New Series Dalek History Number 1. Are B&M really in for the long haul on this and willing to go through all the new Daleks too? I would have thought we were due a good few more releases from the Classic series as there should be Davros packs for the remaining stories as well as the Daleks. |

Indeed. I did see a couple of the last one but I'd already bagged one from the website by then. It's the Dalek sets that never appear round here. Hopefully the other releases will be character website exclusives.
