Before it sold out it was £29.99. Lord alone knows what it will be on the secondary market.

A look on Ebay shows vastly hiked scalper scum prices (£63-85)...for an item they won't have in-hand yet.

Surprising that should sell out instantly, but the 14th figure hasn't. I wonder if Character are getting their run numbers wrong. I'd imagine that will be back before long.

If you had seen the 14th Doc figure in-hand, you would understand. It is a thing that...exists.

Yup.
Shiny version now in 'collector packaging' (which I will chuck in the recyling). Less shiny general version for the plebs later.
I will not double dip. I will not double dip.

A long night? What?
I've got an electric screwdriver for shelves. It's very good. Makes a nice whirring noise.

It's because I haven't rewatched them since they were on. I intend to get round to that at some point. I am still hoping for a uniform spine blu-ray collection.

I would like blu ray sets of the 2005 sets onwards with all the bells and whistles of The Collection sets. Not holding my breath for that though.
Or it will be announced just after I finally crack and get the current blu ray sets for 2005+.

That is exactly the predicament I'm in. I'm putting money on the BBC going for a bells and whistles new series collection when the classic one is complete because at that point, with VHS, DVD and BR done, they finally won't be able to wring any more money out of the classic series.

If VHS has a resurgence the way vinyl and tapes have you just know they'll pump out 'retro' DW VHS Special Editions.
The beeb will never run out of finding new ways to sell the 20th century episodes. It's quite amazing it's all still commercially viable, especially when chunks are on SD 405-line 4:3 mono telerecordings. Heck, it's mindblowing that episodes which have only limited visuals OR NONE AT ALL are not only still getting commercial releases...but some of them have had multiple releases in multiple formats! Mad, really, when you stop to think of it.
I suspect we may see shiny new releases of 21st century episodes from 2025 when they start to hit 20th anniveraries...

The only thing that could stop that happening is if the market for physical media dies enough that it wouldn't be commercially viable. However I think Who fans are a unique case. They'll always buy anything.

Yup. Physical releases may continue to dwindle but there will be always be a niche for things like this. There is a collector market, if not much else.
