The ones that stock toys are somewhat out of my way so I don't get to them often. I may have time next weekend.

The nearest Tesco that stocks Doctor Who Character Building stuff is in Polmont, about forty-five minutes walk up the canal. (or ten minutes by train but where's the fun in that). Payday is not until the 28th but I might detour that way at some point after that and see if they still have the eleventy Doctors set. T'is a nice little set and the Chibi Classic Doctors are such fun.

Or indeed in another Tesco I hit at lunchtime today (that store had CB army stuff on discount, which the other store did not! Madness).
John Lewis have the Cyberman Conversion Set and the 11 Docs Set both down to £14.95. At least they did today!

CB are pacing it just right. Far better than the glut of LEGO minifig waves which came out far too close to each other. By wave 5 I had buyer's fatigue.
CB Dalek #99 procured today.

For anyone still looking for the 11 Doctors set I have a spare which would cost about £16 posted. Its still sealed.
Got 3 from the boots 3for2 a while back. Sold one on ebay to recoup some money then planned to use one for my Firefly cast repaints, but found I was only really using one of the long coated bodies and 10s head for Simon tamm. I figure the longcoat is likely to get used in the blind packs eventually and 10s head isn't that great a fit so I dont really need the extra set after all.

The Mega TARDIS Console Room set is down to £33.75 in ASDA. Well worth it and a steal at that price!

A walk to Polmont along the canal is always pleasant, but there was a specific purpose to my trip this afternoon - the Polmont Tesco has CB Doctor Who stuff whereas the Falkirk one does not. A forty-five minute wander later and I have liberated one of their remaining 11 Doctors Mini-fig sets.
They are distinctly fantastic - I especially like the Billydoc appears to be supplied not with a stick for walking but a stick for hitting with, a Billy Club if you like...
The unhappy look on the Patdoc's face is great as well - he very much seems to have run across one of those "most terrible things" that the dark corners of the universe have bred.

IIRC, there's a version which has 10th Doctor in glasses and a couple of other alterations. I have an 11 Doctors set of the usual size figures in those variants.

Karl: that is not a stick for Billy. It is Pat's recorder. -Ralph Oh. The lack of anything that looks like holes in it made it seem more like a stick than anything else. I will speak to Billydoc and see if I can get it back for Patdoc. This could take a bit of persuasion I fear... Karl

The build of the Dalek Factory does not go well.
Having spent a week building SW Lego I can see how inferior the CB Bricks are.

Had the same experience with Kreo Jazz this morning. It wasn't bad, but I find that every time I go near a non lego set, the quality is lacking in some way.
