The build of the Dalek Factory does not go well. What has tasked you? Mine fitted together ok. -Ralph

The grey base plate doesn't fit onto the rest ok
one of the flat grey plates pops off by itself
lots of other pieces haven't fitted together ok
The dark grey & the black on the instructions is very hard to distinguish until you realise you need a piece you haven't got in quite that colour.

Had no problem with pieces sticking together and it's holding together fine. Either I was lucky or you have been unlucky. -Ralph

The metalic grey plates are a particular problem. The base plates are holding together better since it fell apart this evening and I got to lean on the plates on a flat surface.

Something strange has happened.... now there are five River Songs.... CB Doctors are now faced with the startling sight of five River Songs....
I'm not sure that this will prove a recipe for domestic bliss.

One Asda in Hull has the tardis control room set down to £22.50, don't know if its all stores or not, these big reductions tend to vary store to store. Almost tempted but I have no room for a big playset and already have the 3 figures.

Karl The plan was for 10 and was in motion for several months, but at only 1 per case it was a struggle to get 5! Well, 6 actually but I kept the limited edition variant River. -Ralph

Now, with all these Doctors and Rivers I find myself thinking that perhaps I need to get myself a TARDIS console room for them to argue over the flying of. Karl

I just got around to opening some packs I bought ages ago. I think because they were both River Song I hadn't bothered to open them, I was probably meant to ask Ralph if he wanted them for his project. Anyway, yeah opened them and 2 of the 3 were the western variant River. Blimey! Free listings this weekend.

Perhaps listing one at at a time might be a good idea as not to saturate the market?
So out of NINE Rivers bought for "the project" THREE were variants?
Blimey.

I plan to keep one, I've still got a couple of standard River and PC Ponds to get rid of too, been doing them one at a time as you advice though.
I really like the shiney gold base.

Standard River Song went up in price quite a bit before Christmas. PC Pond went down.
S3 Jack and Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures. Ecclestone and Tennant series cast and maybe mix in some older stuff to go with the 11 doctor set.

In the words of the old comic strips the CB Doctors and I have "rediscovered the element of the TARDIS". I have a big chunky box sitting here which I walked out to one of the Edinburgh ASDA's to pick up yesterday evening (nearly leaving it in the cinema after Game of Shadows for my pains).
I look forward to sitting down tomorrow to have a look at constructing it - and then peopling it with Eleven Doctors, one or two Ponds, a Williams and Six River Songs (from whom I still cannot get an explanation of how there can be temporally distinct versions of her all in one place, and how this doesn't represent a significant threat to the structure of causality. Or at least, an explanation more detailed than "spoilers").

I think CB will prioritize recent support cast first. I'll welcome any silence-breaking news regarding this line right now. ===KEN

Judging by the start of this thread, Wave 1 news surfaced near the end of January.
Hopefully almost a year on some joy regarding wave 3 may happen.

I want Timelords. Burns has an army of Daleks. I want an army of Timelords and we will fight the last great Time war.
Also a Valeyard and something I can tweak to cult build Faction Paradox.
That is all.
