If I buy any Series 3 and get some handbots, I'll be happy to swap/pass them on.

All the reviews I've seen of it are pretty damning though! It is a Dalek Factory, a factory for producing Daleks, like in Power of the Daleks.... Somethings are just designed to stab straight for the weak spots. Karl

The inevitable occurs - a cheap CB Dalek factory has been acquired. The flat-pack Source of Terrible Evil shall be assembled in due course.... but I shall have to buy some Dalek drones so that I can have some to trundle along the production line. It isn't a proper Dalek Factory unless it can break the minds of puny humans with its terrifying implications.

You have probably obtained the Naboo planet by this point anyway, but just to say ta for the offer but I am ok - They were cheap in Smyths last time I was in so I shall probably be able to snag myself a pack once I get the factory established. Bogatan, you were telling me about a tardis shaped box set that had figures of every doctor in it. At the time, I thought you were talking about the regular Doctor Who action figures. There's a set of them that over here goes for over $100. That's the only one I knew of like that. However, I was trying to make my sister, who's a Doctor Who fan as well, completely jealous by the lego-like Doctor, Amy, and Dalek you gave me, and was looking up stuff online to show her. Is this what you were talking about?NEVER HEARD OF THIS BEFORE! I don't know of any american web stores that are importing the Doctor who CB minifigs. If it is what you were talking about, we both would like to know how much they are running for?

I think it was Tony that mentioned it but yup that's the one, goes for around £20 or $30-35. I think they are still available if youre after one or two.

Lots of stuff about that night was a blurr, compound with getting sick overnight. I don't remember whom I spoke to about what. >_< I guess I rememberd it being you since you gave me the other figures. I'm sorry. And yah, definately want two of them., though it may be the end of the month before I can scratch that together.

The fact I had to bounce this thread from the bottom of page 1 to merge it with Crazy Jetty's new one and it had last been updated in Febuary shows quite how badly Character have dropped the ball with this range this year. No new product and it's May already!

I do wonder if they were caught on the hop with the popularity of the line.

Quite possibly. It's a steady seller in TRU and by far the most popular CB line (they also have Deadly 60 and HM Armed Forces). Still no sign of wave 3 figures or any new sets- a couple of boxes of Dalek factories and another box of wave 2 figures showed up last week. No sign of new gear.

I was seeing multiple pictures of "Lego" Tardises and concols. Are there actual lego-like sets too, or is it just lego compatable minifigures?
Also, appologize for the double thread, I didn't know this one existed. Also, was having a conversation with a few people at botcon and wanted to make sure it stuck out to make sure the "right" people would notice.

Still no sign of Series 3. In that time since Series 2 came out Aug/Sept there has been 3 waves of Lego minifigs released within it.

The playsets and the troop builders came out a little later than wave 2 didnt they? Maybe those more expensive sets were aimed at Christmas with more minifigures to come after. The fact we are in may and they still arent out is odd. though.
Jetty I'll keep an eye out for them, I imagine they should still be available. I've only opened the Tardis playset, but its a fun little set and some of the others look good. Quality is sub lego and probably just a little below Kreo which I personally think is pretty decent stuff so the CB blocks aren't bad.

CB is not LEGO quality, but gets the job done. I prefer the minifigs to the sets (though I had immense fun building the console room). KREO feels wrong to me: the bricks just don't have that something something to them.

I got a troop builder pack of Cybermen for £5 off ebay (inc P&P) from a seller who had quite a few in stock. Not sure if they are reduced elsewhere.

Morrisons had them and the other troop packs down to £2 I think, but have all gone around here. Tesco knocked 75% of many sets in some stores a few weeks/months ago.

My sister would kill me if I didn't ask this: Are their troopbuilder sets for the Weeping Angels, or the Silence? She's more obcessed with them, than I am with Daleks.

There are Weeping Angel 5-packs. The Silence chaps are currently part of wave 2 blind-packs.
