So far this has been a rather enjoyable series. It has a nice slow build up that is developing Lion-o's character and having mature and learn in every episode.
The only annoying things is every time Grune speaks, I keep thinking of Mr Crabs.

Lex Luthor for me.
Panthro's voice doesn't stand out much at all.

The Thundertank looks very cool, But the samoflange line left me like a fool, I knew not what it meant, So to youtube off I went.
I found a clip that explained this line, It was full of swearing oh friends of mine, Fowl mouthed voice actors having fun, Messing up their lines every single one.
It was Panthro who commited the crime, Samoflange wasn't part of his line, So the reference was put in this episode as a joke, I will watch this episode again maybe with a glass of coke.
I will download episode 6 on Saturday, With my dinner ready I shall hit play, A question that will soon come to it's peak, Will little Snarf ever speak?

Another episode enjoyed... We get a sneak peak into Mumm-Ra's past.
A gimmick borrowed from Kung Fu Panda...
Panthro's got a weakness.

Another fantastic episode. This series has went from initial expectations of "I bet it sucks" too "This show is fantastic". The Mumm-Ra mobile was awesome.
Jaga sounds like a good Shockwave, which really fits well with the wise character
With Panthro's weakness, first thing I though of was B.A. Baracus. Every big heroic muscle man needs that one weakness. Nothing worse than a good guy with no flaws.
As pathetic as this sounds, I am not the type who sees anything sexual in cartoon or video games characters, but damn Cheetara is hot in this show.

Stupid Cartoon Network. In their last cycle of episodes, which finished last week, they showed them all except the last two! They've been aired in the US, so why not show the whole lot? I might just lose my patience and look elsewhere for the episodes. It's a pain having to watch out for them when Cartoon Network doesn't even list the titles in their schedules.

That was a fun short.
I don't know how anyone else feels about him, but Snarf has really grown on me in this series. We need more episodes where Snarf does actually does something.

I love the adapted theme tune! Never thought about how the Thundercats theme would sound on a xylophone.

This toon is inspired by Roger Rabbit perhaps.

Inspired by Looney Tunes Ken. The Roger Rabbit short was inspired by that.
Picked up the season pass of Thundercats.
Really enjoying the series so far. The Petaliars episode in particular.

Really enjoying the series so far. The Petaliars episode in particular. Andy Same here. It starts off looking like it's going to be a naff cute thing but turns into high-concept SF. Emotional, too. I've just discovered that Channel 5 is now showing the series. It started on Sunday and is shown daily at 10am.

Finally nearing the end of watching Thundercats (80s) season 1+2. Enjoyed it a bit, but there are few things that are bothering me. 1) If Thundera at the start was 15 years away or whatever (seen by Lion-Os ageing due to his dodgy stasis pod), how come when New Thundera they can travel quickly between the two? (Snarfer even does pizza runs between the two)
2) Why did they introduce slapstick towards the end of the 2nd season? When Mumm-ra kicks out Ma-mutt. I know it's a kids show but this was totally out of place.

I love this series. I personally could not stand the original thundercats. Not as a kid in the eighties, and especially not now. But this show blows me the frell away. The characters are all vibrant and interesting, and Cheetara is my new crush.
It doesn't hurt none that the art is inspired by Kosuke Fujishima!

Dan Norton confirmed as of last week the show is dead, or at least that's how it seems. I'd like to thinks its on a long hiatus.
"Let me just, nobody is working on T(hunder)Cats. It would take years to get it back on tv if we started today. Draw your own conclusion. I love you guys and thank you for all the support."

I think it lasted less longer than He-Man did. The last He-Man cartoon had a full 2-year run, so alas Thundercats flamed out quicker (one produced season split in two over one year). -Ralph
