Hope we find out which month this is out - with something saying that it might tell a story that leads in #95 events - but that is the issue down for the next Previews set of issues Sept 2013 lot. So could it be out Sept 2013 or released after? Could this be the RG1 annual? But that would mean it would need to be finished for printing sept & #95 out late sept? ? also it would be about 40 pages - so maybe 8 different artist doing 8 pages each?
Glad I picked up Geoff Senior cover for #86,90 for 75p each at Leeds comic mart last weekend.

RG1 #92 preview Optimus Prime's arrest seems a little familiar, but I guess there's room for a different (hopefully better) take on the concept.
The resolution to the Action Master problem still seems too easy. If it's simply a body issue, why didn't they try giving them new bodies in 1991? For that matter, why torture for Inferno & Co. by keeping them locked up? They've had the technology to put a laser core/spark into storage for over 4 million years!
Criticism aside, the covers are fantastic this issue. It will be difficult to decide which one to buy this month.

Covers are great again, Wildman seems to have really picked up on that front in recent issues. Haven't read it yet (must get in touch with Mr Bax), but if that (awesome) Senior cover is taken from the contents I can't wait much longer.

Good issue, My only issue Is that it now seems to be gearing up for a new version of G2s story arc, but with only 8 issues left (9 with the zero issue) its going to be an even shorter take on the series.
And as it looks like theres a Primus finale planned it wont even be the full 8 issues. I'm enjoying Primes story, at least its more proactive that his previous bouts of despair. I still wonder how long Galvatron is going to wait in the wings though.

I still wonder how long Galvatron is going to wait in the wings though. I've actually been warming to this book as it has gone along. Initially I really wasn't engaged with it at all and was considering dropping it. (Ironically a fate that Robots in Disguise eventually suffered instead). However, as I've started to see some thematic threads coming together I have been starting to enjoy it a bit more. { Your Issue and other stuff}I'm not so sure we are going to get a literal re-telling of Generation Two, more that Jhiaxus and whatever force he has may be part-and-parcel of the themes we've already seen - of the Transformers having a buried tendency towards becoming homogenised masses of destruction. I think it is less about retelling the same story as G2, more about using those tools to explore that theme from a different angle I agree with you about Galvatron though. I know that travel-time needs to be a factor in this sort of thing... but I really hope that he brought a good book with him! Karl

Full roster of artists for #0: Jeff Anderson, Casey W. Coller, Jose Delbo, Nick Roche, Geoff Senior Looking forward to new Delbo work! And some interesting names mentioned in the solicit: {Spoiler}ZERO POINT! Adventure in the time stream, as HOT ROD desperately attempts to identify the rogue elements that are leading him, and the entire CYBERTRONIAN race, inexorably towards the catastrophic end of time itself. What hidden stories do the DEATHBRINGER, BOLTAX, BUSTER WITWICKY, and GALVATRON have to tell, and what—if any—solutions are there? Or is it already too late?

Anderson.. Delbo... Senior....
This is starting to feel like a movie - reuniting the old pro's for the proverbial "one last caper". That is a wonderful line-up.

The zero space rift in time - could we somehow have the G2 comic & the RG1 future [from 1991 the future] existing in the same time frame.
ie something happen after g2#12 which caused time travel & to go back to stop the G2 story playing out.

Caught up on #92. I'm still enjoying it and ignoring the internet pishing on this series. I jjust think it's fun and makes me feel 8 so I'm happy with it as an interesting 'what if?'. Happy to keep focussing on it as as my one Transformers comic to follow for now (the digital model making it easy for me to do so knowing I can jump back into the other IDW stuff when Regen One finishes its run so I no longer have to follow multiple continuities at once).
Really looking forward to the upcoming special issue. Will be great to have Delbo, Senior and Anderson back for one last hurrah on a Marvel continuity series and the newer artists should be a good fit too.

It should fit in with Guido's cover of Ultra Magnus with Galvatron shadow falling on him.
That must be a cover for a future issue - Geoff #93 is Racknruin.

Liked the "Introducing" credit for Guido and was impressed with his artwork too (though I'm a fan anyway) - he and Baskerville mesh well. Initial thoughts on the issue are it's my favourite yet though... ...that may just be because I was unusually excited to see Wingthing.

After reading an excess copy of #93 for free I remain unconvinced of the writing merits of this series. I felt like I was watching an advert break on the TV such was the amount of clichés, catch phrases and false seriousness in the dialogue.

Thought the "great god Ginrai!" exclamation was a bit odd. Fight was good with the influences from previous fights. I wonder if there will be a Headmasters influence to #94's scheduled bout.

I thought it was great stuff. We had a good, epic knock-down drag-out fight which felt really satisfying - and made its call-backs to the Marvel UK stuff work really well in context (they all felt like things that were smart moves in that situation, rather than just things there because they were callbacks). The last page did get a little whoop of joy from me I will admit. It really does feel like all the various threads of the story are drawing together, and it is picking up space as they start being braided together more strongly.
I'll admit that part of the appeal of this title for me is that it is a nostalgia book, but I am quite enjoying the fact that it is a different kind to my other nostalgia book (GI Joe:ARAH). Whereas the latter has simply gone back to the status quo ante and continued with business as usual, RG1 feels more like an attempt to gather up as many loose ends as possible, knit them all together and make a new picture out of them.
I'm glad I swithered and decided to stay onboard with this book.

Thought the "great god Ginrai!" exclamation was a bit odd. I agree. Amusing as a reference, but given that the only notable gods mentioned in "Marvel" continuities were Primus and Unicron, to have a major character cry out the name in shock seemed out of place. Happy to accept that maybe worship of Ginrai is a viable alternative religion on Cybertron, but if so then why has no-one mentioned it before now? Were the thousands of other TFs seen thus far all Primusians/atheists? Took me out of the story for a moment. Cardinal sin. That being said, there's some interesting story potential in the idea of differing TF religions.
