For the first time since around 1995 my whole collection is seeing the light of day while it gets moved to my aunts for a few weeks. I'm about to see just how stupid big the collection has gotten.

Supreme Cheetor, Unicron, Grand Max, Tako, most of the big guys (not Energon Omega Supreme, hes a bit of a Hermit) long ago donated their boxes to those not fortunate to own a box of their own or whose box was in the big pile of flat boxes.
Cheetor spends most of his time prowling across the tops of my books. Max is a haven to the small and Uncron hangs in my window meanacingly.
Once the water tank cupboard is empty I think I'll be about half way through. I don't think my aunt is prepared for this.

The likes of Tony and Nick could charge money for admission to see their collection. I recall the first time I saw Nick's collection in the plastic, and my brain fell out his ears. And then I found the giant tubs stuffed with even more toys in the corner. Then I casually moved something and just happened to find a boxed Superion giftset, which at the time I did not know existed. A startling experience.

there would have been more, but my mother threw out my toys from when I was a kid, so I lost quite a few good guys like PM Optimus Prime etc, but I've been slowly recovering that collection in the recent years

Nice clean layout Graham. Uncluttered and uniform with them all in alternate mode [apart from Metroplex and Scamper, that ruins the whole look].
Do you ever change the display and have them all in robot mode for example? And is there anything in particular you're missing that you'd like to have in the collection?
