I do indeed. That was a chance acquisition when I was out working in Toronto for a week when that toy was released. I'd walked past a shop a couple of times and was umming and ahhing over whether to get, then on my final day my weekend plans fell through... and the shop I'd walked past was closed because it wasn't a weekday. (There's an underground mall under the banking/commercial district that links all the main office areas together, and is a godsend in the freezing winter and the baking summer. But it's not residential at all, so most of it closed at the weekend.) Luckily I found him lurking elsewhere else I would have come home very disappointed.
That was all at a time when my disposable income was a lot smaller, else I would already have had all of the PCC combiners. Because they're all great. Even if they do have the tendency to spring apart when you try and move them...

W2 Seacons allegedly delivered this morning.
That means when I get home next week I can form Piranicon/King Poseidon using spare Rippersnapper as a substitute limb.
I will post pictures for Burns to see as I know he will appreciate that.

Got a great deal off ebay that arrived yesterday. TFUK issues 1-25 hole punched but otherwise great condition. Collected Comics 3-16, 18 and plague of the insecticons. A selection of random issues and then 321,322,324,331 and 332. A complete set of Ladybird books including the one I have never even seen in person let alone read (Decepticons Underground).
Theres also a selection of unused colouring books, US TF comics. Almost best of all are 2 unused Transformers stickers sets called Switchable Stickables. They are absolutely lovely.
Oh and a collection of posters from the UK comic. A few I havent seen before, at least in person.
Oh and the first 25 issues were still in a binder that the original owner had decorated with stickers.
So much nostalgia in one box.

Finally managed to pick up Spinister and Clobber, thanks to the current offer in the Entertainer. Spinister's very nice, even if does have a very confusing transformation thanks to the the terribly-printed instructions (it's not actually that difficult once you know what they want you to do), but the lovely looking helicopter mode is worth it.
More fun for me though is Clobber, just because I wanted her since becoming fond of the character in Cyberverse. And this Ultra class toy is not as hampered by the armour gimmick as the original Ultra class toys were by theirs. It's surprisingly articulated, with a surprisingly not-straightforward transformation. Very happy with this one.

Hearing this morning that more and more shops are shutting up for the foreseeable, I admit to panic buying Earthrise Prime & Astrotrain on the way home from work. I know that makes no sense and in a couple of months they'll be far cheaper in a sale. I only went in for Prime, but Astrotrain looks much better.

Much as I like these new micromasters, it’s be nice if their legs didn’t pop off if you so much as look at them.

I was going to pick one up on payday, but I didn't think the shops would still be open then. I was surprised, it was pretty busy compared to usual.

Much as I like these new micromasters, it’s be nice if their legs didn’t pop off if you so much as look at them. Hooray! Articulation thanks to ball joints! ... Ah. Ball joints.

Post by Benn on Mar 24, 2020 15:47:33 GMT
The thing is, because of the size, the ball joints don’t actually give them any more movement than a hinge. I think the Stormcloud one is the only one who needs them to transform.
Still, they look nice. Very fiddle-able
