I might have been unable to visit TFNation because I was selling at Comic Con Wales, but I didn't come away empty-handed, Transformers-wise: four ReAction figures and a D&D Diceling (Crossover by any other name). Also a Mars Attacks kit and banoffee rum.

Am I allowed to confess that I have done a minor Pinwig and have two unopened TR Gnaws? They're tucked into the Quintesson Pit box with all the opened ones, the Legends one and the one from the Q Pit.
I've also got a SS86 - really should have bought more - and a Cyberverse

Well this is very encouraging. I'm sure we were at a point a while back where you were done. No but, yeah but, no but- they started doing Dinobots and Mini-Autobots and Insecticons. They started doing figures I never thought they'd do. All neatly in-scale. I... thought I could live without Dinobots, and I settled for Minis and Insects that were too small. I was wrong about that. I have drawn a line in the sand: THIS FAR AND NO FURTHER. There are FOUR characters who do not have figures that are required to reach that line and complete THE '84+. And 3 that are upcoming (although Big Phil still hasn't provided a photo of Swoop). After that... WILL BE OMEGA DAY.And I will be free. |

Just realised I'm in danger of doing a Pinwig as I've not opened any of the TFN haul yet. That's going to be this weekends job. Only reason I opened mine was that I needed to jettison some mass on Monday to get it all back from Birmingham. I thought that in the process I'd lost Clampdown's accessories. Only for them to turn up in the washing machine, having apparently migrated into a trouser pocket in the case... A lot of the haul remains unopened - the Exia isn't getting opened until I start building it, and the VF-29 is earmarked to be opened next week because reasons. Might muck about with the D.I.A Commander trailer this weekend though, been waiting a while to get one of those for Classics Prime. Karl |
