Has anyone had any luck getting the TMNT Ultimate Collection Vol.1? Amazon have a listing but say it will take 2 to 5 weeks to ship which makes me suspicious.

Nickelodeon have stopped Diamond UK from distributing the IDW TMNT comic in the UK, which may also affect the reprint material. Order from Amazon US if you want it.

According to IDW it will now be released in November. As I already have these issues in trade (and some as singles) I probably won't pick this up, but may change my mind depending on the extras.

Yeah it's a great blog with plenty of decent content. There's some Mirage-verse stories I wouldn't have known about without it.

Hopefully the TMNT stuff will hit the IDW app shortly, if it's going to be difficult to get in the UK. Gutted I missed the Sam Kieth cover.

It may do. IDW Doctor Who can be bought digitally though the physical comics can't be sold here.

We're two issues in and it seems to be shaping up nicely. There are some niggles concerning the timeline (it seems there's only about fifteen months between mutation and present), but personally, I don't mind as the story reads well and it seems the family and ninja elements that fans are currently a bit concerned about seem to be there anyway. It's funny that I don't really like the artist's art on covers (mostly a teeth thing) at all, but am quite happy with it in the book itself.

I've not read any of the new TMNT stuff yet surprisingly. I should be getting my first few issues in the mail anytime soon. Excited about this new comic.

UK rights have been sorted now. They're going to reprint the first 5 issues of the IDW series, out end of December, and then we'll be able to get from issue 6 onwards as normal.
Also be able to get the TPBs/HCs, which is nice.

I also got #4 last Friday and well. Colour me intrigued. Per Splinter's comments, it seems we might be looking at a definite original take on the origin of him and the Turtles!
