Those letters / numbers are so adorable! I remember them! I picked up the 'M' robot (green guy with the orange head, 3rd from the left) in Bournemouth in the late 80s. He briefly led my robot secret service (which consisted of him and a Knight Rider robot).

An Army of Skorpornok clones. Good grief. Has my mind been disarranged by the energy of the Sigma Computah?

If they can make Black Zarak's that won't suffer from GPS, they may have found a knock off people would want. As long as they are good quality.

Could anyone recommend where to get a cheap knock off Defensor set from? I have the five Protectobots, but I can't seem able to find any of the combining components for them. I was thinking of maybe picking up a knock off for these parts, until i can find the originals at a decent price.

Avoid. Most of the KOs are different sizes.
I did build a Defensor like this: may have some spares. What do you need?

I need the fists, the feet, the 2 chest shields aw well as the crotch plate. The 2 guns would be nice, but not essential.

I found that funky coloured Swoop in Discount UK for a whopping £1. They also had a red and purple Animated Blackarachnia, and a couple of two packs of small figures including movie Starscream, Cybertron Scourge, what maybe some sort of Beast Wars megatron and two I don't recognise. The pictures of the other toys on the back of the packaging are rather blurry.
I have yet to open him, but I shall be doing that soon and record my thoughts of it on video.
Discount UK is related to Poundworld, in case you may have one of those local. It maybe the same shop, just a different name and sells stuff dearer than £1.

Here is a video of my thoughts when opening the above KO Swoop. He is a very good toy for the price, and holds together well when transformers, which I didn't do properly in the video. I like him.

That was a nice review, Col! No need to be so down! The crazy Minicons are from the Classics packs that later came in individual packs with jelly sweets. Remember these wackity-ass gold Dinbot knockoffs from back in the day? Here's Crazy Horned Grimlock and Sludge/Rodan teleporter accident. I saw these on a variants website many moons ago- I think they're actually contemporaneous with the original Dinobots. Weird, no? -Nick

What surprised me more is that they seem to be selling. There was a few of the smaller 2 packs on the pegs, but only a Swoop and Blackarachnia each.
The review wasn't supposed to be serious, but I was surprised that at how much the figure passed my low expectations.

Hey- expect that video to be popular, bud. Ralph's most popular videos when he did his reviews were the Poundland Specials. We decided it was probably parents finding out of the toys were sturdy enough to be worth buying -Nick

Alas no. It was probably because they were showing up in search results for another youtuber who specialised in all sorts of Poundland videos. I had no idea he existed until I started getting getting abusive comments from other users. One of the reasons why I don't do videos anymore.

Apparently you can't comment on YouTube anymore unless your YouTube account is linked to your Google+ account .....

These days if you don't have a full Google Account the system will eventually try to make you create one - after all, how else will they match up all the data they are gathering through search and email with your Youtube activity to sell the aggregate data to their customers.

I found a link in my google account that allowed me to opt-out of targeted advertising. It's great- every so often I get big ads for dress-up games that I never used to see before. It's nice to have the randomness back.

I shall have to have a look in the options and see if I can find that - not because I like the randomness, but because anything that makes it harder for advertisers pleases me.

The link was at the top of the page describing an update to their user policy or some such bollocks. I'm afraid I don't know how to find it otherwise. I'll have a go this evening.
