Really? The powermaster when attached hardly integrates into the main robot mode and whilst the alt-mode is quite 1987ish (except for the smoke stacks) it doesn't integrate to form a single mass. Misses the point.

Okay.. I give. What's this Steel Core supposed to be?

It's supposedly an original character.

From these pics it doesn't look as good as Warbot Springer. A new character eh?

Off and on topic, I got my Maketoys Giant completed about a week ago. But just been too lazy to write up a full review for it to add to the ones I did for "Scavenger," and "Bonecrusher."
But lord almighty, he is huge. To date, the E-Combiners are the largest (As in height) combiners to date. And they're hardly impressive, nor really stand out much when in a display of regular sized TFs. Giant though actually looms over the deluxes and voyagers that make up the most of Classics. He's got more than just height (He's not *that* much taller than the e-combiners), but a really impressive girth to him. One of the few times I wish I had a camera to take pictures.

I demand a full review, sir!
I'd like this chapy too, and I'm very interested in his size compared to other classics. He sounds great!

A typical voyager, such as RtS Lugnut is waist high to him. I'll get around to it. But it's a chore to transform him back and forth in all three modes. Each one is not a pain by themselves but by the time you're done with one mode, you sort of feel like you're done messing with him for a while. He's got a lot of mistakes, but over all, he's really amazing for a first time. They were ambitious and it paid off.
There are internal clips that hold the limbs in place, in giant mode. You have to press buttons to release them. Quite a feat of engineering all around. But individually, I don't feel the other four are quite as strong on their own as the Bulldozer and Excavator are.

Very interesting, thanks for that. I think his hight sounds spot on. He sounds worth getting definately. Just gotta sell one of the children now to pay for him. Now which one of them is the most troublesome...

I don't care much for how TFC's constructicons look, at all. But their aerialbots seems to fix most of the visual complaints I had on the constructicons. I will definately be looking to get these!

Thinking about it, if anyone wants to do a group buy for three of the Warbot Steel Cores, then drop me a PM. $50 split three ways is almost like paying a sensible amount for postage.

I think I'm going to crack and buy one of the Fansproject Insecticons - is there anywhere I'd be able to get them for less than £40 now?

BBTS have them for $48, Robotkingdom for $47. Might get them into the UK for about £40

Hopefully it won't be too bad now that you can buy direct from Fansproject.

I'm seriously thinking about getting Hegemon Megatron. But something's holding me back (something other than Mrs Shockprowl). Wasn't there another Classicy scale not-Megatron in the works somewhere?
My C.O.CK. is going to pay for Hegemon, should I go for him. Styling is good, scale is good. Just can't decide. Help me Cyber Chumbs!

Therr's something nagging at the back of my mind about another version of Megs. Certainly been no mention for ages.
