Lacks pull back and go. Also looks too much like a real Jeep for my liking (and not just for the double infringement), Throttlebots had the whole distorted version thing going on.

Looks nice, seems to have an interesting transformation, but dunno if I wanna drop large sums of money on a character I don't really care for.

I forgot to mention I obtained a Hegemon Megatron. In brief- robot mode is very good, gun mode so so, size spot on for 'Classics', head/face sculpt very good, quality is ok but the plastic doesn't quite feel up to hastak standards. I got him for 60ish squids from a nice man on ebay. I certainly wouldn't want to have paid anymore to be honest. But on display he looks brilliant, G1tastic. He even held up well in a light battle against a Prowl lead Autobot task force.

Make Toys have FINALLY got some stock to Kapow, who've done a fine job keeping informed of the manufacturing delay. So hopefully Green Giant, the toy I've wait, oh only 27 years for, will arrive by the end of the month!

I'm increasingly tempted to buy the Knight Morphers' Screamer toy. It's a lot of money for a single Deluxe sized toy, but the level of detail is fantastic.

Looks like FP are going to re-release the Bruticus add on Swindle and Blast Off pair. Assuming the combiner parts are included I think I might get them this time. I got the repaints at AA and taken just as robots are very nice.

I'm glad people are getting a second shot at these. I think Munitioner is the best toy FP made, and Explorer a close second. As a whole set, it has it's problems, but the Crossfire enhanced Bruticus is the best combiner to date.

I really like all the Hearts of Steel figs from Knight Morphers, particularly Starscream and Shockwave. I really like the comic, and I'd grab these in a second, but sadly I don't have enough dosh in the toy piggey bank.

Doesn't look like an aircraft carrier to me either - looks a lot like a Macross-style spacecraft. It has the central "command tower" that the original Macross Class and the Macross Quarter has, and the twin forward booms look a bit like Macross II's "Gloria". Now I'm not saying that this is in any way deliberate... it is just what I see when I look at it.
Doesn't really float my boat to be honest - especially at the price point - but horses for courses and all that.

The Throttlebots are one of the third party concepts that I've found the most exciting. "Grind Rod" is a perfect update if Rollbar, and the Throttlebots aren't a group of TFs Hasbro will likely ever touch in true classics fashion (Even though they wouldn't be that difficult. There are two cars that would make perfect retools of one another.)
I also want the Deluxe insecticons. But I can't swing that much money now.

Apparently the Toyworld throttlebots will be a combiner team.
Given my usual distast for combiners, I'm surprisingly interested in this surprise turn of events.

Yeah, according to TWF2005: www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/3rd-party-unlicensed-41/toyworld-unofficial-throttlebots-combiner-176239/"Our sponsors TFSource have dropped a bit of bombshell on Facebook with regard to the Toyworld Throttlebots, the first of which, Grind Rod, has just recently been released. We have received confirmation from Toy World that once all the TW-T0 Figures are released, the final figure will contain all the parts to make them combine! What will the final six Throttlebot gestalt look like? Are we going to see something like Puzzler from Go-Bots? Time will tell - but that's not going to stop us Transformers fans from speculating and looking for limb modes in each of the TW-T0 series releases as they come out! " I've got one waiting for me in my BBTS PoL. (I absolutely love how I can build store credit... it's like advanced layaway)
