Was planning a few things for today's public holiday, but I have pretty much scrubbed all my plans because they were all outsidey things and after nipping into town for some required shopping I have decided that it is far too hot to go very far in terms of being outside. So my half-formed plans of going up Arthur's Seat (you never know, might bump into Gawain and pick up some swordsmanship tips) or a wander out to Edinburgh and one of its retail parks, or perhaps a walk along the canal at Linlithgow have been well and truly scrubbed.
I have however invested in large quantity of high spf suncream and a gallon of aftersun as my sunburn is still troubling me this morning.
I think it is a day for judging carefully how far I go, and possibly for parking a chair in the shade in my back garden with a couple of books.

Fingers crossed for the test to go well, and for them to be able to sort you out with something to combat the tiredness.
Currently sneezing away like a trooper and sweating out my own body weight in water. Until my hay fever meds kick in I am not opening a window. Already had one sneeze enhanced nose-bleed today thank you!

The anaemia, and some other stuff I saw him about which I didn't mention here, is all to do with the stomach disorder. Gastroenerologist Monday.

I am not coping well with hayfever this season. Thankfully, the roads were not busy today so did not have to spend too much time on stuffy buses during work hours.
I now have more RPM's. I'm addicted. The floodgates have opened.

If he's addicted to RPMs there may be no hope for him. Time to stick him in a home and divide his Action Figure collection between us!
Hope you feel better soon, Big Phil.
Hello Sportsfans!!!
Apols for my recent lack of postingness, Mrs Shockers has been a bit under the weather, but she's improving now, bless her. Wriggler continues to do well, although she's started trumping like a sailor! I fear she may take off round the room like a let-goed ballon!
Need to sneak away when I can to see the Movie.

This particular addict needs help fast. I even find myself looking on TF WIKI to see which ones I don't have. I need help. I don't know why I'm doing this! In other news, blood donation #9 this evening. Painless and swift as always and of course I sneaked an extra biscuit. It's worthwhile doing, guys! Have a go! Each pint is split between 3 people. All that is required is 10 minutes of the terribly hard effort that is lying down and waiting for biscuits. I use more effort typing posts on here. -Ralph

Sadly as an anaemic I'm pretty certain they wouldn't want mine. I also understand there's some implications for my blood due to the CMT.

I went to TESCO. But there were RPM's/Speed Stars or Stealth Force. They had have DOTAMAN Shockwave, but I'm not interested in him anymore after his portrayal in the film.

A very frustrating couple of days at work all told. I seem to have done quite a lot and yet still ended up back exactly where I was at the beginning of Tuesday morning. Ah well, only a couple more days to go and then it is the weekend.

I'm having a pleasingly smooth week at work compared to the last few. So far, at least.
One good bit of news I forgot to report last week is that our project funding is finally confirmed as secure to March 2012 ie end of current financial year (which is as secure as it gets in my line of work at the moment). There had been some...issues...earlier in the year which seemed to have been resolved. It's nice to know my employment is (reasonably) secure for once.

Yes there is. M is Spiderman, and thus works for the Mouse.* It therefore follows that you must be the distinguished competition's premier hero.

Strange men are scaling the walls of Castle Martin on ladders and making breaches in its walls.
From the inside it sounds like my house is having several simultaneous dental fillings.
And they call it insulating my cavity walls.
I must patrol the insides of the place to stop glass objects walking off windowsills in response to the drilling.

My old man decided it was time for one of his regular trips to hospital with a heart attack again last night, most inconvenient! Owch. I shall keep my fingers crossed for him. For my part my sunburn has decided to start to peel finally. Currently my neck and face are flaking quite badly - I was beginning to look a little bit decayed this morning and was wondering whether I should follow the Master's example in Deadly Assassin and hide under a big leather cloak in a nice cool catacomb. So far my arms have only just started to peel, but I am distinctly less red than I was earlier in the week, which is somewhat of a relief. Another hectic day of standing stillness today. Ah well, only one more working day and a dentists appointment to go and the week is at an end. Karl
