Let's say you're taking a party into the past to undo damage to the timeline.
Out of the entire Lost Light crew, who would be absolutely top of your list NOT to take with you?
Won't end well.

Somebody on 2005 pointed out that Megatron might be with them too, shrunk down and waiting in reserve either in the briefcase or in one of Rung's many secret compartments. Considering mass displacement technology probably hasn't been invented by this period, that would be quite the trump card to pull out in a pinch.

There are some really... not good... covers in that lot.

Couple of those covers - the standard MTMTE one and and Windblade variant - are pretty spoilerific by themselves!
They've tried to disguise the return of Scrapper in the Windblade one but's it's obvious the art has been butchered.

Whirl. Bless him, he's sort of adorable.
And the art in his panels does a remarkable job giving him a sense of movement.

Youy can't help thinking that letting him into the special toy cabinet is going to end badly.

BTW anyone else notice the Comixology download is a bit screwed in places with several of the 2 page spreads not being attatched?

Complete mess. After struggling through the preview the other day I was looking forward to reading the first few pages in a pleasant, natural way, only to find nearly the whole book was buggered.

Just read MTMTE #36, and can't go to bed. So very, very, good. And yes, that theory is... terrifying. And so, so very exciting.

The last issue was amazing: one of the best single issues of the series, if not the best. I'm really impressed by the way James and Milne are maintaining such high standards. If this was a Marvel or DC book, this run would be going down in legend - I don't mean to say that it's not being recognised by TF fans, obviously it is, but that it should surely be remembered as one of the best extended runs in comics in the last 15 years - it's better than ultimate spiderman for example. Hyperbole? Maybe I haven't read enough comics to make that claim - but if there's anything as good I'd like to read it (the last hyped thing I tried was Saga and that didn't do much for me).

Phil, your last post doesn't seem to be working for me (the hidden bit), but maybe it's because I'm on my phone.

Could well be.
The last few days the forum has tried to change twitter links into embedded images of the tweets. Has done some odd things for me too:
This is the text:

We've got some BIG stories coming up in 2015. The DJD! The Scavengers! More female TFs! Fort Max! Thunderclash! Deathsaurus! 0 replies 82 retweets 123 favorites

All good other than female transformers. Oh come on.
Maybe these won't be high heeled lipstick wearing fembots and so slightly believable.

I was chatting with Karl yesterday before I went back home about Brainstorm's mission.
Neither of us think his mission is to take out any one particular individual in the conflict. If he killed Pax, chances are someone else takes up that role, the same if he was to kill Megatron, and instead of him you get Shockwave or one of the bat-shit mental Phase sixers.
There's something more behind his mission I think.

I've seen it speculated that Brainstorm is from the Functionalist reality and it trying to get back there by altering the time line so it exists. Which does rather infer that someone has already done something to make it not exist
Even if that's not true I think the storyline could be about the effects this trip into the past has had on the established history. We've already seen (Super Big Spoiler here so be warned and don't click) Roller probably get put on the road to becoming Tarn of the DJD and I wonder what will happen on their next landing? Letting Whirl into the past with a bunch of big guns has to end up with him shaping history by shooting someone.

DJD - going by yesterdays Graham Norton show it Dame Judy Dence. That'll be a shock when you expect to see Tarn coming after you
