Cybermen? Big clanky cannon fodder. They won't last five minutes. They should have hired this guy.In other news, here's me in action in Iowa, courtesy of a campus newspaper lady who took some shots of our unusually diverse group. -Nick

Well how else will she learn how to make a good den without you showing her. Soon enough she will be waking up to find that she has made her own.

Firstly, an open letter to David CameronSecondly, I'm rather surprised by how poorly the trailer for Rise of the Planet of the Apes tried to sell the film it was supposed to be advertising. The trailer made it all look a bit ridiculous and I went in thinking I'd be hard pressed to suspend my disbelief enough to actually take it seriously. But the film actually turned out to be pretty good. The trouble is the character-driven, emotional drama side of the film which is a big part of what makes it good is never hinted at sufficiently in the trailer. Whoever was responsible for that trailer really needs to look carefully at what they've just put together and realise they didn't do the film justice. It deserved better. Conclusion: much better film than I expected it to be. Tip: stay for the end, there is a post-credits scene.

I'm baaaaaack! Fab time yesterday, spent all afternoon in the bar. Ralph joined me after he had done unspeakable things in my bathroom courtesy of something he ate at breakfast and we settled in for the aftternoon assembling team TMUK in their favoured staging area. Nick R's Toys were delivered to him and the "receipt" was signed. And sketched on. And counter signed by some bloke sitting next to him.... Mr Roche interviewing Furman & Senior was superb and Ralph & I should probably apologise to anyone sitting remotely near us during Transformers The Movie as we were a little loud and rude about certain bits. I certainly shall never watch the climatic battle between Galvatron & Rodimus the same way again. Usual horrible queues this morning which unfortunately led to me going over which caused a little bit of fuss. And, as is the way these days, one fall was enough so it was an early bath for me. What little I bought can be found hereToy Fu doing a roaring trade.

Won a bottle of sherry in a raffle today Went to my nephews birthday party yesterday and ended up teaching a spot of wrestling on request to the kids, and on top of that lost count of the "wow"s and "cools"s in reaction the Dr Who-esque birthday package I set up. ===KEN

Snap suplex into a butterfly lock is my preferred hold, but no way would I do that on minors.
I demonstrated how a chokeslam is pulled off, but didn't follow with the move just the lift. As you know hippobot, the move is more or less reliant on the recipient pushing down on the other persons shoulder.
taught some chops (with me taking them), irish whips, and lockups. No submissions obviously.
My nephews have the wrestling bug and maybe one day they will follow through with it.

Ken: Yes I did, I was projecting! Keeled over two minutes after I got there but kept it together for the rest of the service.
I hear Burns has once again been engaged in the Holiday Inn Weight Loss Diet program....
