Hey,
I have a *.csv file which is semicolon delimited. It opens into Excel without giving me the opportunity to split the information into their relevant columns. Is there any way of organising the columns, split by the semicolons, once the file has opened in Excel?
:-(

Yup
Open the csv with notepad, copy & paste the data into xl, goto the data menu and do text to columns. Set the delimeter to whatever is seperating and watch.

Though the definition of csv file says they're separated with commas so I can understand xl doing what it did.

I did see that option Phil. Thanks.
As I was driving home, I was thinking the same thing.
Blinking Germans. This bloody test kit has got me a stressed puppy again. I'm paranoid one little slip up will mess up all the data.
