Halfway through the working week. Looking forward to the weekend and my weekly cinema trip. Might catch "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" this week I think.
Best of luck to Johnathan for his first day of Big School tomorrow!

He was so excited we couldn't get him to stand still to take a photo on his own today.
But enough about Burns, Jonathan was happy to be going to school.

Hope it goes well for him.
In Dave news, having not driven a car for a few years I decided the other day to book a refresher lesson. I hadn't really thought much more of it, but now it's getting close (at 13:00), I'm a bit nervous. Hopefully it'll be OK.

I wish all lapsed drivers were so wise. The driving place was surprised when I booked it. Sadly I get the impression the only people usually asking for refreshers are those who've been forced to re-take their test. I've got another next week as we didn't cover everything, but as it happened today went fairly smoothly. Still, for my first time back driving it was reassuring knowing there was someone with a second set of pedals should something go wrong.

Hope Johnathan's first day at Big School went well.
Today was one of those rare days when it felt like everything had clicked together and I felt like a lot of forward progress was being made. I like those days. They don't happen often enough, but they are great when they do happen.

Oh lord the pain is very bad tonight.....
.... so I decided to run a bath. Put the water on, retired to bedroom to wait for bath to fill. A couple of minutes later I thought "that doesn't sound quite right" .....
.... and returned to the bath room to find I'd forgotton to put the plug in and had run half a tank straight down the plug hole!

It's a good one, Involving mild fun. I joined the TFCC after the cut-off date to get the toy of Sideburn, Yet they sent me one anyway: this doth make me gurn. This befuddles and amuses me in equal measure, It certainly gives me some kind of pleasure. I have double checked when I joined just now, TFCC needs to take some kind of bow!

I thought rhyming week ended last week? If I knew it lasted for two weeks, i would have continued trying to rhyme.
Darn it.

Tis a challenge to be sure, but who among us is brave enough to endure, after all they will risk Phil's wrath, still you have to admit, it is a laugh.
