Shockwave. Dear God, Shockwave. We should be getting one of those for Dark of the Moon next year (and it might even be a ray gun alt mode for all we know so far)

I believe that Ed is not a particular fan of what some call the "movie aesthetic", so a DOTM Shockwave may not entirely be what he had in mind.
But speaking of Shockwave in DOTM, I imagine we'll get a slew of juvenile, crass, toilet jokes about his command of the entire electromagnetic spectrum.

Generations ScourgeOf the next waves of toys, after the ones that have just hit stateside, both of the Generations have escaped along with RTS Perceptor. Nobody gives a flying fig about Bumblebee leaving just Prime & Wreckgar outstanding.

This is one of the few times I'd like a Scourge repaint! A Toxitron would also be welcome

I would say the odds of Toxitron being a Fun Pub/Botcon toy in a year or two are high if a retail version does not come out.

This movie Shockwave could influence other possible incarnations like Megatron and Bumblebee have.
I'd also like to see updates of the Duocons and Battlechargers with better robot modes.

Shockwave. Dear God, Shockwave. Yes. Damn it. And Emirate Xaaron. Also Blitzwing, Skids, Trailbreaker, and I'd love an 'Infiltration' style Megatron.

I'm sure my question has already been answered, but does anyone know if the new Thunderwing is going to get an official release in the UK? Or is he part of a Wave that's getting skipped?

Well according to my to get list, he's in the Generations line, so he'll likely get skipped (along with Scourge which I'm really annoyed by)

I just spoke to my account manager and sadly it looks like I now definitely won't be able to get Generations waves 3 and 4 from them. (Hasbro's fault, not theirs, I think.) Some outstanding HFTD might come through but he didn't sound too hopeful. It looks like I might have to bite the bullet and order some Stealth Force if I want any new Transformers stock for Christmas.

In that case, I think I might wait to see what the Japanese version looks like.

Not coming to the UK, where Generations is dead as a toyline. At least through Hasbro UK.
Almost certainly not getting a Japanese release either. We know TF United releases into March and Bayformers III hits in May. So alas US Import is your only option.

Thanks, Phil, I appreciate that.
I shall import a US Thunderwing or die in the attempt!

We didn't actually discuss Reveal The Shield but he did mention those words in passing.

The Generations 2010 book exclusives will be: The Autobot Set: - Rodimus Blue Clear Version - Kup Damage Version - Scrap Heap (Remold from Wreckgar) The Decepticon Set - Galvatron Purple Clear Version - Cyclonus Purple Clear Version - Scourge Purple Clear Version All a bit uninspiring really, I was hoping for all new characters

Uncle Phil, could you please let us know which toys are in Generations and which toys are in Reveal The Shield? I am utterly confused on to what is in which sub-line and don't know which ones to import!

I had planned to throw some money your way for them so you're at least one retailer who will lose income they would have got. Oh, Hasbro UK. -Ralph

Tsk. I buy very few TFs these days but had been looking forward to getting quite a bundle - Kup, Scourge, Thunderwing and Perceptor. Looks like it'll only be the one now.

I ended up turning to eBay for Thunderwing in the end. BBTS was my first port of call, but the shipping was rather on the dear side.
