Said box prevents the turret from turning in vehicle mode, and thus the Turret faces the wrong way. The turret is meant to turn, it's attached by a pivot. File the box off and the turret turns pointing towards the lower part of the tank which to any sane person should be the front. Yes Warpath is one of the best two Legends (along with G2 Tank Megatron) but he's got a glaring flaw. This dlx looks like the Legend upscaled (which I believe was the original plan) so *hopfully* the box will fold into the underside of the turret at the larger size. |

Upsized to deluxe version but looks like it uses a similar TF.
There's evidence - the chest box limiting the turret - that Legends Warpath is a downsized dlx anyway.

Warpath looks awesome! I hope they do a good paint job, I always get disappointed after seeing these grey prototype images to find that the actual colours obscure all the detail.
Now... if only he was an Ultra class toy with a voice chip!

So we've had Powerglide, Seaspray (kind of), and now Warpath as large remakes, and Beachcomber and Cosmos as Legends. That's the whole Mini-Autobot series 2 re-done!
I've always preferred Tailgate to Windcharger, so, while I've skipped on the new Windcharger, I would sure get a Tailgate.
