The case had loads of the toys missing in the UK including Skullgrin. Can remember buying nearly an entire set for Nick Roche and lugging them up to AA.

Considering he was an original creation for the Marvel UK comics, did the UK ever get a release of the Generations Deluxe 'Darkmount' Figure?

I've seen plenty of listings for it on eBay, but nothing available in the UK - every available item seems to be in the USA.

Yes, he was in w2 with WFC Megatron. That wave made it to Asda, TRU and others at the time, before the doors closed on the Generations line in the UK:

Straxus was created for the US comic, first appearing in issue 17 reprinted as issues 66 & 67 of Transformers UK

Yeah, I definitely picked my Darkmount up from somewhere in the UK. Pretty sure it was in the Portsmouth Toysaurus.

Just picked up an unboxed but excellent condition Darkmount figure from eBay...for a bargain £40!

Seller goes by Gringo2401 from Montrose. Is this anyone here?

Not to the best of my knowledge.

Straxus/Darkmount has aged very well. There's been rumours recently of a new leader version from Galvatron, which I'd buy, but this is still a pretty decent toy.

There was another one listed on EBay (another UK seller) when I grabbed my one,,,only about £5 more, but IDK if you'd want it without the box/packaging.
