Hey Guys
Sorry I haven't been about much lately. Sadly my Grandmother passed away recently and we've been arranging the funeral, which will be on Monday 27th. I'm gonna attempt to show my face a bit at BIG but there may be last-minute stuff that requires my attention, and I'm not really in much of a party mood at the moment anyway. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up with y'all at some point during the day. Graham's got my number so I'll keep in touch.
Hugs
Mx

What time is every one meeting up on Saturday? Thinking I wouldnt mind coming along. But need to see if train timetables will make it worth while.

Since I'm not going anywhere for a while and Toys'r'us doesn't have any shifts available, I can join you nice folks. For the latter reason, I will be watching my funds carefully. -Nick Sadly the consequence of this statement has just sprung to mind!

Sadly I suspect the question will arrise every time Turn & Burn share a hotel room and are "accidentally" given a double bed.
BIG Sausage watch: The Kaptain represented the side by having sausages for lunch while Ralph claims he only had sausage for breakast.

Wish I'd been there for earlier in the day but alas child care takes precedent. As it was, I was (as anticipated) cream crackered after yesterday.

Just got home. When I left, the pitchers of cocktails were in full flow, as were Andy's claims to Ralph being his scabbard, etc., etc. and Ralph's desperate pleas to sleep in Karl and Nick's room tonight. But all told, the day was a noble and comradely affair, excepting the dishonour of those who chose to run away laughing from the nice lady who took our group photograph and then asked us to sign her petition to help starving asylum seekers. Nick came without toys, but Poundland and ther 99p shop next door supplied those needs.
The chocolate martinis were heavenly. Real ales numbers 1, 5 and 12 were by all reports more variable.

I can report my two poundland toys survived the return journey intact. The group photo the nice lady took came out rather well, though Nick appears not to have quite mastered the art of looking at the camera and keeping his eyes open.
