Roadbuster could do with the repaint treatment more than Topspin. ===KEN

Hmm, not sure I like Roadbuster's repaint. Was hoping for a G1 repaint. Also, the more I think about it, the more I'm not sure about Twintwist. Maybe he should have had a colour reversal from Topspin- more G1y. Not that I'm a G1 junkie or anything!

Well, now DOTM voyager Ironhide has joined the ranks of my Movie figs, I find that he isn't that much shorter at all! He's almost as tall as the old voyagers, although not as bulky (he's a very nice fig). So although I'm very pleased with him, stand him next to DOTM Optimus and Megatron, and he looks too big! Although stood next to voyager Optimus and Megatron and Starscream from ROTF and he looks top notch!
Another size issue I've found, not related to height, is body size. DOTM Optimus and Megatron's bodies look too small in relation to their arms and particularly legs. Megatron looks ok with his cape and hood on, but Optimus in particular has a undersized body.
Shockwave's on the way to me. I wonder how tall he will be.

Having now bought a few deluxes and voyagers I have to admit I like them more than expected. I imagine the need to keep the car modes about the same size so that they could reuse earlier movie toys forced certain changes to them rather than simply shrinking the figures overall.
The changes are a bit iffy in some cases. In a few noticeable ways the figures are all so much simpler than other recent toys. Little things, like check out almost any deluxe toy for the last couple of years, the hands are a separate piece from the arm, usually with some range of articulation. The DOTM deluxes that I have got so far are all forearm and hand cast as one piece.

I've just got the Bumblebee and the hands bend in at the wrist plus have a moveable opposable thumb which can lock round a Mechtech peg. He doesn't feel any smaller than previous Bumblebees.
My only moan is the mechtech weapon not staying open, but we're going to open it up later and take the spring out to fix that.

I've found deluxes not smaller as such, just less bulky. I concure though, I too grabbed Mechtech BB in a fit of weakness cheap from Tescosis and I also found him the same bulk/size as previous BBs. Is this BB a new mold? He's a nice fig, but seems like an older mold to me in his styling etc. I much preffer my 'concept' BB from the first movie line.

There's been no official announcement of a MechTech Deluxe Leadfoot has there? Just as well. A Deluxe Leadfoot would likely be a major step back from the HA figure and probably would'nt include Steejaw. Then again, there's two Roadbusters. Along with Shockwave, Leadfoot in delux is a priority to complete my Wreckers, any word on what repaint Twintwist will be? Topspin I'd guess. Hoping they're gunna release the rest of the Dreads in delux. Deluxe Leadfoot: www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-news-rumors/435328-dotm-deluxe-leadfoot-hand-photos.html

Shockwave arrived to my grubby little mits today, and very pleased I am with him. Great looking figure- but size wise he holds up very well. He's a smidge shorter than ROTF voyager Op and Megs, but his general bulk means he looks ok next to these figs. I'm relieved!

[\muses] Should it worry me that two of the Movie Wreckers seem to be specialising in hauling around firepower that is most effective against lightly armoured vehicles and human infantry........ [/muses]

Oooh Yeeeaahh!!! I'm all ova both those Soundwaves, Baby! Delux and Human Alliance look excellent! So happy Laserbeak comes with HA Soundwave! Delux Leadfoot also looks nice. Thunderwing repaint looks good as well. And those Rescue Team/Force whatevertheywerecalled look very groovy! I had hoped for a snippet about future Leader Class releases (namely Shockwave!), sadly none. Exciting times ahead though!
