Books are exempt from VAT anyway, so as long as the customs form is correctly marked you shouldn't have to worry about CUTA.
The guy I've ordered Artfire from has the book for 3500 Yen shipped [about £27]. PM me if you want his e-mail.

Very annoying, but luckily I cancelled my order as I've sourced them elsewhere.
It's a shame Amazon Japan stopped their cheap shipping option, as I used to use them a lot in the past and they were more reliable than HLJ are lately.

It does seem to have been since they moved to their new facility that things have gone a little tango ultra with HLJ. I rarely had issues with their stock levels in the past, but now they don't seem to have the supply to meet the demand that they are getting.

Got my copy today! Seems nice enough, has tempting pics of Arms Microns. Ironically don't have time to read it due to a Japanese exam tomorrow morning.
EDIT: I had no idea there'd be a Masterforce manga in the back with the non-Japanese Pretenders in. Awesome little extra.

So I got a 'you weren't in' card from Royal Mail when I was out Saturday morning (even though the post had been round before I effing left). I have been scratching my head as to what this could be as I am not waiting on anything. I just had a brain wave and checked my paypal. I appear to have been charged on the 7th May by HLJ for a copy of this book. Which I had previously cancelled on the 4th of May.
*bangs head off wall*.
I shall be able to confirm this when I do the long trip to the sorting office next Saturday...
