A pile of leaves which when you squint at it could be Unicron's head? It's like a Jesus in burnt toast thing. We'll be seeing Unicron faces everywhere soon.
(there is something delightfully recursive in a Transformer transforming into his own head though)

I just don't get it. That's not a Transformer!

A pox on thee HLJ. I've ended up with doubles of AMW 4, 5 & 6!
Anyone want them?

Bulkhead however is a work of genius!

Bulkhead: can be used as either hand: I now need two! Can be hand held by a 5mm peg or wrist mounted by another. Has a 5mm bore down the middle of the fist so can hold other arms Microns. This is the biiz, he's superb and just so so mental.....
My only slight complaint is you can't fold both robot arms over the back of the hand at the same time.
Arcee is waaaay better than I expected her to be. She looke=s really thin and fragile but has arather decent sword mode albeit with a joint in an odd place which means the bllade slopes sometimes when you want it to stay straight.
Dado, the turtle, is the simplest but a wonderfully effective shield mode. His combined form with Zad & Gob is nice and the best thing done with the other two toy.

Being off sick has given me the opportunity to put together AMWs 4 through 9. Love every single one, this is such a great line!
They manage some surprisingly clever and unique transformations for small kits you assemble yourself. It's a nice glimpse into toy engineering.
I'm particularly taken with Jida R - he makes a suprisingly expressive and sympathetic chainsaw-cyclops-robot-cat.

I had completely ignored this range. However, having fiddled with Phil's, I can comfirm they are really clever fun wee toys. Also nice to see a TF range do something different. The one that turns into a giant fist is especially fabulous.

I would like to make it clear that Burns has fiddled with Phil's Arms Microns. Not anything else!

Arms Microns are a bit like that. I didn't pay them much heed until I had a chance to actually play about with them - then they grew on me quite a bit. They are one of those things that I think that you have to see to appreciate - and if they were sitting their on supermarket shelves in this country I would probably be tempted to pick a few up.

Wooo. I'm generally done with regular TF toys but those could interest me due to their buildability, size and price-point.
