I've put together two now (from Soundwave and BB), and I really like the microns. They've got character, nice designs, the shiny stickers make them pop and, mishaps aside, it's nice to put them together yourself.
I'm not so keen on the sticker-applying to the larger toy - there is no way most of those stickers are going to be on Soundwave in the long term, especially those on his lower legs. Bumblebee is better from that point of view, though I didn't apply the roof sticker as it goes over sculpted detail such that it's clearly not going to stay on.
In fact, I'm surprised by how much I like Bumblebee. He's simple to transform, the revealer gimmick works really well and the micron ports allow for lots of different arrangements of weapons.

I always liked building Zoids so an easy kit with not too many pieces should be good

Disappointed by the lack of stickers, especially on the gecko and cobra - they'll look a bit bare next to the other Arms Microns.

If I can find some at AA this year I'll definitely try and get them (I love Mini-con type things )

If I read right the case of 10 is 1 each of Op & BB, 2 each of each colopur of the others. so I'll have a purple & grey spare of each (non Op & BB) Micron. I also hear this case comes fully assembled. The case is aprox £20 shipped from HLJ: www.hlj.com/product/TTA99608 Should sneak in under CUTA radar. This is bugging me: why cast Prime in Blue? surely red would be better and paint the legs.

Cheers Phil, after they stopped preorders, I had assumed HLJ would just not have any more stock. Hmm...

Swapsies!
I can see the exchange rate between a BB and a black gecko / cobra seriously favouring the latter.

They have painted details, I'll give them that, but I much prefer the animals and there does seem to be a feeling out there of Op / BB overload. I suspect people will value black higher as a neutral weapon colour as well.
I'll probably keep a BB to complement AM Bumblebee though.

Anyone want to part with a Prime and BB for reasonable money? I'm just not feeling sold on the animals, having seen better pics.

Got a few of these myself now, thankyou, Kinjacono! Prime's gun mode annoys me because I want to fold the legs like G1 targetmasters, but that just covers his peg... However, I think these toys just redeemed the whole TF:Prime line for me. Bumbleblender!

Finally opened some of mine, really liking the Gecko, there's a surprising amount of articulation there. One of my cobras is a bit loose at the joints - doesn't collapse when you set him down or anything, but it is noticable when handling.

Just won a Zad (Kneel before him!) off a seller on Ebay.
If I like him (pretty sure I will) I'll go hunting for more either at or after AA
