I don't think you will get near that asking price I'm afraid.

what's the difference between the version G bought and this one?

I'd say £145.
But on a more serious note - blatantly stolen from the TFwiki:
Revenge of the Fallen's Ultimate Bumblebee is a retool of the 2007 version, with new rims, hood, front fenders. He also features a new, more accurate head sculpt with a battle mask. This time, his sound chip plays Stan Bush's "The Touch".
So basically a slight repaint that even I'm not that interested in, this was mass produced and warmed shelves - its not worth multiple times retail in my book, although there may be some bigger Bumblebee fans out there I'm yet to meet.
Marc.

A quick peak at eBay's completed items reveals someone paid £30 for one of these recently....

Sad to see a toy like that where its worth less than retail.
I have to say its the kind of thing I might pickup, but it'd have to be competitively priced ~£40 maybe.

I'm sorely tempted to move this to the Ebay madness thread, but as it's the first time a member of this fine establishment has been the contributor I'll leave it be for now.
It's not going to go for £100, not unless someone gets really drunk and really stupid.

It sold for £90.00. It turns out I underestimated the stupidity and/or drunkeness of ebay patrons.

For a sealed one that might be about right, top end but not totally mad, open and boxed of the original version can go for £50+ on occasion. Not really paid much attention to this version but as it came later and based on Marc wiki post I guess its a better version.

I'd not pay £90 for something with no picture of the box and someone only having 6 positive feedback - call me harsh.

I'm a little worried Wazzy may have got the wrong end of the stick on this. Reading the thread back we may have come across a little harsh to a new poster.

I'm a little worried Wazzy may have got the wrong end of the stick on this. Reading the thread back we may have come across a little harsh to a new poster. Especially as he seemed to be right and DID sell it for £90, crikey! I must admit I was pretty incredulous that you could get even 20% of that price!!

I think we've all expressed astonishment that he got that much. Big surprise, the Completed Auctions evidence suggested £30 was about the tops. £60 if we took into account that the previous big win had £30 postage involved. However four near identical messages trying to flog the same toy ..... tmukhub.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=viewprofile&user=wazzy232But yeah he got a little unlucky with which toy it was. I don't think you could have picked a worse toy to advertise here..... except maybe RID Magnus then we'd have all got into a big fight and Burns would tell us to p!$$ off cos it's $#!+ cos he says so.

I hate to come across as harsh, but if your first 3 or 4 posts are all about selling something you have to expect some critique, especially if you are pricing something fairly high. I'd consider myself a fairly welcoming person, especially when Bumblebee is involved!
