At Toys'r'us we've had about a dozen cases of wave 3, which is more than we got of wave 1 and a hell of a lot more than wave 2. They're selling okay, but I guess we ordered LOADS and will have to work through them before the next wave comes in. Which will probably be wave 5.

Activators are just £2.99 in Sainsbury's, according to their Christmas catalogue.

Ooh. After case after case of Bumblebee, Starscream and Bulkhead at TRU, I might hop along to any good-sized Sainsbury's I can find to see if they have any later dudes.

Not yet.
FPG had Universe Silverstreak and Sideswipe in today, along with a big space where Ironhide probably had been. Poor Galvatron is peg warming though. No-one wants him. Awwww.

He seems to be doing okay at TRU. I think it helps that in our store the Universe deluxes are directly above the increasingly tatty, still-full-price Robot Replica Megatrons. People look at them, recoil at the combined horrors of it's-not-that-big, it's-thirteen-quid and it-doesn't-turn-into-anything and then see the Universe chaps in their transformable, realistic-vehicle glory.

I seem to be the only person who thinks Galvatron looks great. One day, he and Universe Blaster shall duel atop my laptop.

Sounds like he would make an excellent Time Wars Galvatron.

TJ Hughes has Transformer torches in the shape of "Generation 1" Bumblebee and Cliffjumper. You press a button on the side of the torch to flip the head up and reveal the bulb. No idea of price.

Personally, I'll pass on Universe Galvatron and try to get the Henkei version instead unless i cant get one that is. Oddly enough, our TRU is not stocking any Uni Deluxes at the mo. It is all Animated right now.

It is all Animated right now. Which TRU is that?? I was in the south Bristol one a few weeks ago and they had Galvatron/Sunstreaker/Acid Storm etc. as well as Universe Onslaught (and presumably Silverbolt and Powerglide, but I didn't have a good rummage on the shelf). Haven't been to Cribbs one in a while though.

This weekend I saw Universe Ironhide, Sideswipe, Galvatron, Powerglide and Onslaught in FP:Edinburgh. Quite like the look of Acid Storm now that I have seen him in the plastic - the 'nam-era camo-scheme is quite amusingly retro. Also working to convince myself that I do not need to be spending £25 on a Universe Powerglide.

Considering the amount of promos being run on TF's of late, I'm sure it will be less than £25 before soon enough.

That's wierd, guess they must have sold out. Although the display was so horribly organised when I was there, the Animated endcap spilling into the aisle and toys on wrong pegs etc. I wouldn't be surprised if the Universes were hidden behind Animated figures.

Are Sentinel Prime and Elite Bumblebee out here? I have a spare of each if anyone's interested.

Asda had Movie Fracture, Breakway, Grindcore and Divebomb - the Cybertron and Classics repaints that are store exlusives in the US. No sign of Jolt or Crankcase, but I assume they had sold by the time I passed.
