I've got Big Daddy and Fracture and think they're fantastic. Hopefully I can get the rest. I really want Grindcore. Great toy.

One of Hull's Asdas had Big Daddy last night when I spent as small fortune on three of them (not Big Daddy's) forgetting the new price point.

So Jolt's the only one still missing ? I don't think we will get Jolt as this wave seems to be a straight port of the US wave 2 which was the three new toys plus repacks of Big Daddy, Divebomb and Grindcore. I think the US case ratio was x2 Fracture, x2 Breakaway, x1 Crankcase, x1 Big Daddy, x1 Divebomb, x1 Grindcore. Since Asda most likely got these directly from Wal-Mart I doubt anyone along the chain of command would notice/care that we never got Jolt in this country and go to the trouble and admin expense of revising the assortment. I hope I'm wrong though as Jolt is really pretty and though I want one I can't be arsed to eBay it. Incidentally how much are these going for? Still £9.99 for a movie deluxe?

I want a Big Daddy so bad. Darn my lack of cash!
I may have to knock over a bank with my Megatron re-issue!

If you can't find one let me know and I might be able to head back to the one here and pick one up for you. Thanks Karl. I found a local Asda today, but no movie toys. I'll give them a couple more weeks though and see if I can find any other Asdas, but if not I'll take you up on your offer!

The movie deluxes weren't out when I went to my Asda today so I got an unfortunate assistant to check the stockroom for me and got to unpack a fresh case. I can confirm that the assortment we got is indeed the same as US wave 2 and does not contain Jolt. Sigh. Ah well, it's nice to have all the others at least.

Still no sign of the movie deluxe in Asda here, but they do now have Bumper Battlers at £6.98, which seems a more sensible price to me than the £10 or so that they are elsewhere. (The price label suggested that is Asda's normal price, not some promotional price.)
Asda also has the Animated pinball machine that I've seen elsewhere (see the Animated tat thread). I didn't see them myself, but saw somebody carrying a couple not far away, in Asda bags and sporting their half price toys sticker. £10.

FPG has Universe Silverbolt for £29.99.
A1 has the Wall-mart exclusive 'Legacy of Bumblebee' 3-pack at £29.99.

No movie Deluxe in Asda Cardiff Bay either. But they did have some movie jigsaws. There were three different types, £2 each. (How can a previously unreleased toy, imported from Canada, be marked as "half price"?)

Universe wave 3 is now out in Toys'r'us, at least in the Govan branch. It contains:
2 x Sideswipe 2 x Silverstreak 2 x Ironhide 1 x Galvatron 1 x Acid Storm
The cars have sold pretty well and Galvatron got to join his legions of cousins from the previous wave on the peg. There's nothing particularly *wrong* with Galvatron as far as I can tell apart from the oft-mentioned size issue but since the market for Universe is as much folks like us as it is kiddies and with everybody watching their wallets these days I guess 13 quid for a toy you're not 100% sure about is currently too much to ask. Meanwhile sales of Onslaught and Powerglide at near twice the price remain steady. Go fig.

Found Animated Swoop and Sentinel prime in Sainsbury's today for £4.99 each (yay sale!). It was the normal wave 4 assortment (just SP and Swoop) and not the controversial wave 4.5 so there were no Elite Guard Bumblebees on offer. Shame.
Although I really, really like Swoop I'm glad I got the figure on sale as it is tiny. I'd have felt a bit robbed at full price as the thing is smaller and lighter than a lot of Energon and Cybertron basics, even taking into account the extra mass of the flail. Sentinel Prime is brilliant.

The Entertainer's Christmas catalogue lists movie Voyager at £12, with the pictured toy being Premium Blackout, so there seems a good chance of finding them in the shops.

See New Aquisitions. Saw both in Entertainer Kingston last week.
A request: If anyone finds a Swoop for 1/2 price in Sainsburys can they get me one ?

There are no toys in *your* Sainsbury's, Ralph. There's a Sainsbury's the size of a small moon in East Kilbride that has a fair selection. Unfortunately it's a hell of a hike from where I live.
Popped into Asda next door to Toys'r'us in Govan and picked up Universe legends wave 2. Yay! Hound, Jazz and Megatron. I scooped up as many others as I could find for the Scots crew, which came to one more Megatron and one more Jazz. Boo. I'll keep the place under observation.

Found Fracture in an ASDA in Crawley, but no new legends. Did grab a Big Daddy though, just 'cause I'm on a Micromaster binge at the moment.

My local Sainsburys always has TFs. I got a fair load of my animated deluxes there as well as the movie robot heroes.
