FPL has the new wave of Universe Classics in stock including Sunstreaker, Ironhide and some other that I can't recall for 14.99 each. They were also putting out stock of Animated Ultra Magnus for £49.99.

I'm currently in Birmingham for the Memorabilia show at the NEC for tomorrow and Sunday. After setting up earlier i then popped into ASDA in Dudley and they had all 6 Movie Deluxe so if anyone lives around this area you know where to go! Also popped into TRU here and there wasn't much going... apart from noticing that the Movie Metallic Ratchet & Megatron's are in as i believe they are accross the country now.

The local ASDA usually only carries Legends size figures for its' TF stock so it was a surprise to see other TF's in there today. 2x Supreme Animated Prime (£48-odd, ahahahahhahaha) and a box of the Movie Allspark Power toys was being put out as I was there: 2xCrankcase, 1xGrindcore, 1xDivebomb, 1xBreakaway (a toy I had no idea existed: how nice to be surprised by a new TF in a store!) and 1xBig Daddy. £9.76 a pop.
Amusingly, also a couple of boxes of 3" Titaniums: Prime (battle damage), Rodders and Galvatron. £1.96 a pop.
This may not seem that exciting, but TF's are usually verrrrrrrrrrrry thin on the ground round these parts.

They seem to have mammoth quantities of them, because they are forever being restocked on the shelves when they sell out. Most Transformers stuff Asda gets one or two cases and never restocks, but the Titaniums just seem to keep on coming. Karl

Yes, for some reason most Titaniums didn't seem to get released in the UK, but there was a huge glut of that wave. Woolworths used to have a lot of them, they seem to be in every Asda at the moment and I have them in stock, too; I was able to get them at a reduced price, suggesting that the wholesaler was trying to sell off a large number of them.
Hot Rod and Thundercracker are only one each per case of 12, by the way.

Ah, sounds like one wave tanked so stores did not take further waves perhaps?
In other news, one lonely Universe Powerglide in TJ Hughes. £24.99

Until yesterday they were shelfwarming. Today, there were only 4 Rodimii left. I think every kid in the local area wil be getting a Titanium as a 'Transformer'. They are currently the only Transformers available locally. -Ralph

I sold one today, funnily enough, the first in a few weeks. It was Optimus.

Not sure if i have mentioned it previously, Toymasters are selling Universe and Animated Deluxes for £9.75. It's the first time I've seen Universe Sideswipe outside the specialist shop and it is a reasonable price.

I was in Sainsbury's today. They actually had the £2.99 Activators that are in the Christmas catalogue, which I think is the first sighting reported here. Plus, they were a new wave! Bulkhead, Thundercracker (Starscream repaint) and a Bumblebee repaint.
(I had to hang around for at least ten minutes while some brat decided whether to get the sole Bumblebee or a different one. I don't pettily call him a brat because he took the only Bumblebee, but because he was one - he was literally climbing the shelves, crawling right into the third shelf up. His dad was just watching him do it!)

ASDA Clydebank had 2x (deep breath) Movie Allspark Power Decepticon Fracture this morning. Hurrah. I think this was the Movie recolour we were still waiting to see so interested folk might want to check out the local ASDA.
Some random Titanium 3" in TJ Hughes at £1.99.

Have the Animated Activators gone up a few quid? I could swear they were a fiver before. The Animated Voyagers seem to have been dropped.
Animated Deluxes up from £9.99 to £12.69, in line with Universe. Oh dear.
Which characters are the dudes in the Legends 5-pack meant to be? And 2 packs to collect? What's in the other one?

Well, my Entertainer has always had the Activators at £7.
I'm iffy about even paying a tenner for the Animated Deluxes now, after the magical £5 a pop Tescos did a while back. I have been spoiled

What's in the other one? -Ralph The two Starscream repaints are Thrust and Ramjet, the Jetfire one is Skydive, the Soundwave one is Air Raid and the Evac one is Blades. The other pack is the Special Team Leaders set (actually called that - joy!) and features Legends Scourge as Hun-Grrr, Leobreaker as Razorclaw, Vector Prime as Scattershot, Cyb Thundercracker as Silverbolt and Cyb Prime as Hot Spot (now called Hot Zone, which sounds a bit dirty to me). I'm trying not to think about the Animated deluxe price hike seeing as I still haven't got over the Universe deluxe hike. In the end I haven't actually paid the new price for any Universe deluxe (yet) thanks to all the sales we've had but this is going to make it much harder to dodge paying over a tenner for a deluxe and still be able to pick up what I want. What makes me angry is that the American price for both lines still hasn't moved - and won't do now thanks to their economy. It seems like we are taking the hit for them

The higher price of Universe Deluxes does actually make the Kenkei! Deluxes a bit more desirable to me though. If I'm going to be paying over the odds for a figure I'd rather have some nice chrome/better paint apps.

Hmm. I'm glad I picked up the Animated Deluxes I really wanted to get at the latter half of lasy year then. The price increase to £13-odds puts them into the "have to think carefully about" bracket.

You mentioned Incinerator (Acquisitions thread) as I looked for one today at my local store. No joy there on my end.
No in regards to First Strike Optimus, but you did now. He's a Movie Prime repaint right?

Repaint of the Voyager Movie Prime in more 'G1' colours, so no flames IIRC.

I saw them in the Birmingham Entertainer. Loads of Incinerators, one or two Primes. Neither really floated my boat though

I have two other Bristolian Entertainers I could check for stuff, just my little Keynsham store is a 10 minute walk from home. I won't be going near inner city Bristol until my University starts back up properly.
Incinerator did'nt float my boat at first, but he's grown on me.

Got the Legends Special Team Leaders pack in Argos Kingston this morning - both of what they had in stock were this one, no air rivals. Reviews to follow in a repaints revision of the 12 original Legends moulds but to be going on with here's a nice table showing how often a legends mould has been repainted and which larger version of the toy hasn't been imortalised as a legend: CLICK ME
