Haha
I popped into the Entertainer, and they were trying to sell Animated Deluxes for £15 a pop.
Good luck with that!

My local asda had some tf toys - the three animated legends (Prowl, Bumblebee and Optimus) all snapped up and the Cybertronian version of Optimus Prime from animated.

Universe Inferno!
Multilingual box and all, 19.99!
Repaint Vector Prime was there too, didn't pick him up, though he did look decent

I dunno... I'm not a fan of that Inferno. That accessory pack with the ladder and missile/hand replacement do make it look better though...

I was on the fence, but to find him at 19.99 (not the 'new' inflated price), plus to actually /find/ him tipped me.

Tesco in Falkirk have Universe Overload and Leo Prime in stock. No shelf tags so I have no idea if they are at the old or new price though. They appear to have been randomly shoved out amongst their Animated siblings.

FPG seem to have gone back to the bad days of randomly pricing up their toys. Universe Infenro and Vector Prime : £25. Marvel Crossover TF's: grey Iron Man, Carnage, Thor and Captain America: £17.

It leaves Animated Swindle a bit of work to do in selling himself given that he is sitting next to them with his pricetag of £12.99. Karl

I found some new releases in Sainsbury's yesterday. (Cue grumbles from Ralph.)
Animated Bumper Battlers Bulkhead and Jazz (whose chunky car mode looks like a GoBot). Robot Heroes Silverbolt with Transmetal Megatron, Blaster with Thrust and Ironhide with Kickback.

My Asda is going down the usual route of not having the great deals that everyone else seems to enjoy in their local stores. The Coatbridge store only had classics SideSwipe and he was scanning as £12.

I can confirm that. They arrived at my branch off a truck this morning. 4 cases- four two a box rather than the two of previous waves, and just called 'Transformers Universe Ultra' with no wave number suggesting that they are store exclusives. Also they're 50p more and have a different SKN number from the other Universe ultras- not to mention a shiny '25TH ANNIVERSARY' patch on ther boxes. Woo.

50p more displeases me.

Speaking of exclusives, remember Nightwatch Optimus Prime? Only at Argos? Not any more. We got 5 cases of him in today- or rather 4 of him and one of Premier edition Megatron. Megatron's barcode didn't work however and his case sticker said 'Nightwatch Optimus Prime' so they may have been bundled up for us by mistake.
The cases were plain rather than Hasbro's usual logo-plastered cartons and some of the Primes had stickers on them with what looked like Japanese text. They may have come from the same place as the mountain of Revenge of the Sith figures we suddenly got a couple of years ago after months of them being sold out- they had Japanese stickers too. Weird, no? Perhaps surplus stock bought cheap from another country? Anyway, they came in at the unsurprising RRP of 39.99. That may change as a lot of items are being reduced for our big Easter push. Speaking of which:
All Universe deluxes are now reduced to £7.69 and when you spend over £15 on any TF merchandise you get a free TFU Robot Heroes 2-pack. Woo.

What Universe deluxes do you have?
And let me know if Nightwatch Prime drops in price. He's 2 years old. Surely it will drop in price somewhere FFS!

Love Nightwatch Prime., but I already got it. Really would have liked it to have been Premium Prime instead.
I dont think my store had dropped deluxes prices but as they dont have any more Acidstorms I dont really care.

Blurr, Swindle and Blazing Lockdown have finally surfaced at very long last. I found them at Tesco today *and* - joy of joys - they were on sale for only £7.49. I am a happy stick of celery.
Swindle is quite possibly the greatest Transformer ever made. I may have to take him to bed with me tonight.

Tesco in Falkirk have Universe Silverbolt and the purple Powerglide repaint who I am reliably informed is called Stormcloud.
Silverbolt has actually grown on me a bit. I think he looks aright - just not twenty-five pounds worth of aright.....
EDIT - The also have the yellow Animated Ratchet in as well. Not sure of the price on that, as I didn't really pay much attention to it.

I'm told the Dreadwing Silverbolt repaint is seven shades of awesomeness and much more suitable for the name/mould matching

For anyone who missed the Universe Mini-Con 12-pack in Woolworths, Poundstretcher has it for £13.99. (I wonder if they bought up the remaining stock.)

Almost certainly. Toys'r'us has a mountain of Puppy in my Pocket sets that turned up in the new year. We presumably bought them from Woolies' creditors for a pittance- means we can sell them at half RRP and still make money, I guess.
Phil- sorry I didn't see your question sooner. I shall check, but I don't think they were Allspark Power.
One solitary box of Robot Heroes 'wave 2 09' showed up in TRU yesterday. It contained, if memory serves, Perceptor & Bombshell, Tigatron & Inferno and Predaking & Ricochet. Other chaps such as RiD Prime & Megatron and Prowl & Laserbeak featured on the cardbacks but weren't in the case. Must be in a future assortment. Sorry Gav!

New arrivals in Toys'r'us:
Animated Deluxe wave 1 '09: 2 x 'Blazing' Lockdown 2 x Bumblebee 2 x Swindle 2 x Blurr
And for anyone who still wants one, the Bumblebee triple-pack (Classics, Movie & Animated) showed up out of the blue today. Don't know how much it is but I'll try to find out tomorrow.
