This is the Energon mould that everyone hates isn't it? I remember Energon well enough, but I don't ever remember seeing a Grimlock. Pity Dualor isn't in this box given Slug and Strafe have the other two from that trio.
Quick bit of research later... so this came with a Swoop originally that it combined with? gah! so two AoE toys have half of one set with them, and this AoE Grimlock has half of another set?
Cobblers Hasbro! sort your act out!

HLJ have dropped their prices on these but the discount doesn't seem to have gone through to those who've already ordered. So it might be worth ordering again and cancelling Gelshark www.hlj.com/product/TKT81291/Sci Y4000 Y3200 Jetfire www.hlj.com/product/TKT81292/Sci Y7000 Y5600 That brings Jetfire down to a very reasonable £32 plus postage.

I'm waiting for the Jhiaxus/Wingblade/Nightbeat/Crosscut wave to arrive before shipping mine. Was hoping that'd show today, EE have had theirs.

I bagged Roadbuster for the same price yesterday. They fluctuate a lot.

Not in stock yet but toysrus.co.uk is showing AoE Wave 2 Generations Deluxe Strafe (non-evo version), Slash and Drift on their website, but not Lockdown.
Or any more Voyagers.

Oh I don't know, Amazon often list things long before they come out. And we know that Amazon delivery estimates, like their release dates - are basically generated by the role of a die, the type of die determined by an arcane formula that even they may not properly understand.

Worth having a look at Amazon.com transformers generations toys are fluctuating in price a fair bit right now.
Gen Roadbuster under $15 (under £15 posted, no customs). Dinobot Slog? (the voyager Sludge like one) is even cheaper.
Deluxes seem to be heading down too.

There was similar fun this time last year. I grabbed Hoist, Thundercracker and Sharkticon Megatron cheap :-)

I've got about half a dozen in a basket I check daily. It's a fun gamble to look at the stock numbers drop alongside the prices. Slog is stupid cheap now but I pulled the trigger on him ages ago. Big figure for the current asking price.

Nooooo! I just did an Amazon order. Phil, are the protectobots worth it for 26 dollars? Or should I keep my dwindling cash for combiner wars?

Hehehehe! I've ordered it all. Oh dear credit card bill.
I ordered each of the protectobot sets with one of the cheap deluxes and the total for each order came in at around £20. For a voyager and 2 deluxes (or 3 deluxes and minicon) thats not bad at all.
Personally I think the Inferno mould is worth the best part £20 alone so that sets a no brainer. I did give some thought to the other set, but I do like the Prime Ratchet and Prowl moulds so thought I'd give them a shot.
The deluxe will serve as custom fodder (G2 Jhiaxus or I'm convinced theres an IDW Metalhawk in there somewhere and all the potential Nightbeat repaints) or wind up on ebay to recoup some of the protectobots cost.

Have you got a Universe Inferno/Generations Grapple? If the answer is no then yes it's worth it.

Arg! I thought sales were supposed to be in January? I'm drowning in unopened Hasbro boxes at the moment. Just too many. I bought Nightbeat At $12 last week and he hasn't even reached these shores yet! I was going to skip Jhiaxus on the grounds there's sure to be a proper G2 version at some point, but £6 for a deluxe? too tempting!

The sheer orange of jhiaxus is a thing to behold, pure g2 sterotyping concentrated in to a single toy. Well worth £6.

I have the Hot Spot version of the Inferno/Grapple, and it is indeed a great look figure.
