And to be fair, Lego is still expensive, but they've done very well in offering decent stuff at a low price point. TF uh, well. Uh. Well. Well, I have the lowest disposeable income of my working life now but when I have some spare pennies for toys I can also find a not very expensive Lego product. Transformers...not so much. -Ralph

Odd pairing... what about the rest of that wave? anyway, £12.99 is top whack, but as shipping is free... that'll be a tough one to find in a few months. Ordered for the novelty! ta.

It is way too much, you're right. But it's cheaper than buying an assortment of four for £40 just to get that one figure when you already have the other three.

Sadly though TF prices seemed to be going up to silly amounts. I did spot the CW legends wave of Hot Rod, Skywarp, Groove and Warpath in Tesco last week for a shocking £12. Is there a known reason as to why they all seem to be increasing to prices far beyond there value? Attachments:

The same wave that sold for £10 at retail last year? That's just greed.
The local Sainsburgeries struggled to shift them even when marked down to £5.

With the way prices are increasing lately in both the UK and the US, it does make me think is this the retailers doing this or are Hasbro the ones behind the price increases? Does it have anything to do with why Hasbro are moving the manufacturing from China to India? They maybe having to pay more for skilled labour in China, so moving to India where they can pay the workers less.

It's not beyond expected really. The first Legends packs with the companions were £10.99 in TRU a couple of years ago. I also expect the Legends price will shift up when TR comes to bear because the new Titanmaster figures have introduced a new pocket money price point. I think the Legends will become a little larger to accommodate the Titanmaster riders. Buzzsaw certainly seems to be quite large to me for what he is.

They've been in Sainsburgeries for a while for £12-something 'reduced' from £17.

Didn't know that and don't recall people saying.
Won't sell at £17. Might struggle at £12

They're not shifting at £12. I was almost tempted to try a pack but they're above impulse purchase price.

My fingers are crossed. I'm not really too worried about the Stunticons in general due to the "owned it before effect". But I do quite fancy picking up an Off-Road if I get the chance. (And I'd be a tiny bit tempted by the CW Motormaster just so he could punch it out with Battle Core.)

Ta for the heads-up, but to be honest I suspect that it is a "if I saw it in the flesh I'd be tempted" kind of purchase - especially as for the next few months pretty much any TF purchase is going to be a "Must fit into The Box"(definite article is important) purchase so he might have to displace something else from the collection.
I've had a play with one in the plastic, and it is a really nice toy. But I'm not sure it is enough nice to justify duplicating a mould when I already have Battle Core. (Same reason as I probably won't be picking up Vortex - nice toy, but I've already got Blades and Alpha Bravo so he seems overkill. Tempted by Swindle, who is sufficiently different to Rook I might be able to justify it.)

£130? They're taking the piss again. They did that with previous Platinum boxsets. The Intel Ops boxset is £70 (i got it for £40 in the Kapow sale) everywhere else but £130 at TRU.

To quote TRU theme music
"magical place you can go with millions of toys under one roof it's called ..." then change the end Smyths toy shop

Bit ambitious of TRU to claim Computron is sold in stores isn't it?
