Had at least two updates from Amazon in April, the last one pushing it back to May 3rd - 13th.
Soon!

Comixology is saying June, not heard anything official from Diamond or IDW.

Hey guys. Sorry I didn't respond to this earlier; I only just saw it now. Rest assured that the UK reprints series is continuing! The plan is to reach Vol 8. The latest volume was delayed for a number of reasons, but we're back on track. Amazon now says 9 July. I continue to pin my hopes on your reassurance that this magnificent tome will materialise, James. I have a protective plastic book jacket just the right size for it, and a gap on my bookshelf alongside the first 3 volumes... Martin

A fortnight or so after US release date is usual for trades on Amazon, nothing to worry about.

Just put in an order this lunchtime and they are saying that they are "temporarily out of stock". Never mind, I still have to reorder the shelves to make room for this tome when it arrives anyways.

I can confirm this exists as I saw two copies in FPE today. They wanted £19 for it rather than the £23 they wanted for previous volumes.

Arrived, thankfully it fit through the letterbox and I don't have to trek to the arse end of nowhere to pick it up.
Looking forward to getting stuck into it this weekend! Hoping for nice weather so I can take it to the park.

Arrived here as well. Colour on some of the strips looks a bit off/flat, but the book is jammed full of features and nostalgic extras.

I have cancelled my Amazon order and reordered through the Book Depository - who have already despatched The Item. Clearly they are the shopping option I should have chosen. (To paraphrase Eccleston).

Got mine at long last! (Had to have it redelivered due to size of package.)
It's a thing of joy, 10/10.

I've been having a leaf through a copy of this today. I'm not entirely sanguine about the repro on some of the strips, it is not up to the quality that it could be. I'll likely be keeping the titan editions of those stories which I do have to supplement this tome. I'm still looking forward to it's arrival mind you - it is nice to have this stuff in a handy package, and I do appreciate the supplementary material that goes into the volumes.

Enjoying the extras, which if I am honest is the main selling point for me. Then it's the Wildman/Cardy covers.
Repro is...questionable in places. Sadly Burning Sky Pt 2 with Magnus/Galvatron suffers greatly.

To be honest, I've passed on vols 3 and 4 due to the strips being printed so small on the page (two borders: ridiculous) which makes reading them a pain and not enjoyable. Which is a shame, as I thought the 'making of' features in vols 1 and 2 were absolutely first class. But like DVD's, I pick up books for the main content rather than the extras. I'll read vols 3 and 4 when they hit the local library system but will pass on buying them.
