less about the reaction of your genitals to the arrival of MP Prowl what do you actually think of the toy

Well, well well, try to imagine the perfect modern G1 cartoon-like update of Prowl, and that's him! At this early stage in our relationship I can't fault him. Car mode is gorgeous, you can hardly tell he's a Transformer! Transformation is lovely, really really pleasing, it is smooth, but interesting. One of the nicest transformations I've ever done. And robot mode is simply perfection- the perfect blend of cartoon and updated G1 toy. His gun is huge! Shoulder launchers a bit tiny looking, but do the job and fold out nicely. There's more articulation than you could need. General construction is top notch, paint spot on, no problems. Yes the plastic is the cheap kind, but he feels good. He feels good. And the head sculpt is just BEAUTIFUL! This is a great mold.
I'm blown away. Great work Takara.

He watched over me during my pre nightshift snooze. Soon I must leave him!
Does anyone else have him? Am I the first of us to marvel at his brilliance?

Your mention of lack of weight and cheap plastic puts me right off it, considering the price-point.

(I have signal at work! Woooo!)
It is a consideration, Doc', no doubt. But appears to be the way it is, sadly. He's no worse than MP Soundwave.
I miss him.....
Tomorrow, he will fight Quakewave.

Home after my nightshift. He has stood sentinel over my family.
I hadn't imagined it all...
He really is here.
But after my sleep comes his trail by fire...
He must face Quakewave.
Obviously out powered and out gunned, will Prowl's guile alone save him? Which master tactician's logic will be superior?

Hate to say it mate, but I'm with Ralph on this one. I don't rate his chances against Quakewave's third party battery-backed power.

Well, chumbs, Prowl had his hands full to be sure.
Initially Prowl had no choice but to engage Shockwave one on one, as Shockwave was endangering a group of humans. An ancient Cybertronian artifact had crash landed in a remote part of the American north west. With the other Autobots engaged in what Prowl realised was a diversionary attack nearby by Devastator, Prowl decided to investigate the crash area alone, and encountered Shockwave. Initially Prowl was able to use his smaller size and greater maneuverability to draw Shockwave away from the humans, but, as you predicted Cyber-chumbs, Shockwave was too strong for Prowl by far, and our brave Autobot hero was force into a strategic withdraw. Deep in the desert, within a maze of canyons, Prowl was able to stay one step ahead of the pursuing Shockwave, the Decepticon being unable to bring his full and awesome firepower to bare due to fear of damaging the as yet unfound artifact. Using his guile and cunning, Prowl was able to hastily construct an device which scrambled Shockwave's sensors, luring him into the wrong location. These few minutes were all Prowl needed to located and retrieve the ancient Cybertronian artifact. However, with Shockwave close, Prowl realised there was no way he could escape with the artifact. So, reluctantly, he destroyed the artifact, to ensure it didn't end up in Decepticon hands. Prowl, all to familiar with inter-Decepticon rivalry, transmitted a signal to the other Decepticons, indicating that Shockwave had found the artifact, and was poised to take control of all of Earth's resources. The Decepticons immediately disengaged from their battle with the other Autobots, and raced to secure the artifact for themselves. Inter-rivalries came to the fore, as Megatron, Shockwave and Starscream hurried for control of the now destroyed artifact. With the humans in tow, Prowl made his escape in the confusion.

Yeah I really hope Streak isnt delayed or I'll have been waiting on Prowl needlessly though.
I keep using HLJ on the hope they escape customs. They never do so I'm glad I opted for Kapow for G2 Sideswipe, even though it seems way more than HLJ. At least parcelforce aren't getting a cut.
Also I prefer Kapow taking money straight away as I always forget I need money to pay for HLJ preorders when then are instock.

Well Kapow have done me proud, 'n' no mistake.
I'm so impessed with the MP Prowl mold, I'm considering getting Bluestresk now, when I'd decided not to to save money. The transformation is so lovely. I love the way the wing-mirrors fold under. His legs are a bit hollow looking from behind though, but that's the only small gripe I've got so far. His head and face are so marvelous.
I've ordered a Sideswipe. Prowl needs a chumb.

I just gave in to peer pressure and ordered him from Hong Kong. Have mercy on me.
He does look awesome, and considering how expensive other Masterpiece figures are, £44 posted seemed a good deal. I hope he can sneak past the evil forces of customs.

No customs for me First impression - box feels a little light. Box is up to the typical MP standard art work. update: Just looking at the box - the gloss black artwork seems to cut off on a diagonal half way through, so it's only his bumper and front wheel and right arm/legs/abdomen that is shiny. A little strange looking when the box catches the light. update 2: why it has plastic tyres

Gosh I hadn't even noticed the plastic tyres!!!! Freakin' cost cutting. Does irritate one, when you think how much you've paid. But I'm resigned to the fact that that's the way it is these days (untill I have my own (non-profit making) Third Party company!).
So Stom, whatdayathink whatdayathink whaydayathink?!!!
Are you the only other Hubbite to have him? Sound off if you have him chaps!

I have one on the way. I missed the window for Kapow pre-orders and thought I'd try transbridge-omegalock instead, same price, which seemed fine until they said due to a public holiday in China (they use Takara China) that they aren't being released there until Oct 15th. Which means they won't get them in until sometime next week. Add postage time on this end and I'm expecting mine sometime at the end of next week.
Ironically I did order a couple of amazon missile launchers separately, so I do have those. Just nothing to put them on yet. I'm not too dismayed all told, for the price (£56), I can wait a week or two. It's nice there are places in the UK now that have these figures at decent prices.

I think he's glorious. The head sculpt is excellent. Legs seem a little long (or torso a little short), but still great.
Although transforming without instructions was a bit of a pain as getting the wing mirrors into the torso space was a bit of a squeeze and I was wary of rubbing the paint apps off.
