Have you got Swerve, Tailgate & Skrapnel? DO NOT PUSH COSMOS' HEAD DOWN! It's a bugger to get back up without scraping the paint. Good advice re Cosmos's head, Big Phil. It is a twat to pull up n'no mistake. Thought I was missing something actually! Thought there was some special transformationy thing to help pull up the head, but I couldn't find it! But no. no no. So, ridiculously large molded fists, and hard to transformerize head. Ok, not perfect then, but.... I LOVE HIM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCHHHHHHHHH. I have Shrapnel/Scrapnel whatever he's called, and he's spank my arse awesome too. They're doing it! They're actually doing it, after all these years! They're giving us COMPLETE SETS. Just hold it together, Hasbro, and complete the job. 'Cos, design wise at least, you're freakin' spot freakin' on, n'no mistake. You may be shafting us re the price, but sell-my-children you're designs are LOVELY. Swerve, Tailgate, Gears and Windcharger are defo on The List. I still like my scout Reveal the Shield Windcharger though (although I can't find him at the mo, I think the eldest has stashed him away somewhere with her Moshi Monsters.....). ALERT!!! I have a Warpath problem though, Cyber-pals, re the (rumoured) Legends Warpath upcoming figure. On the one hand, the deluxe Generations Warpath figure is about as awesome as a Generations figure has ever been. He's outstanding. On the other hand.... Legends Cosmos, stood with iGear's 'Legends' Seaspray, and a Legends Powerglide coming up.... Would a legends scaled Warpath be a good thing? I don't mind the 'character' of Warpath suiting a larger form, compared to his team-mates, but I'm finding it more nostalgic to think of Warpath at the same scale as the others (fueled as I am by my sudden and intense nostalgic drive re The Five). But I'm way ahead of myself.... there's no mention of a Beachcomber or Seaspray. Igear's Seaspray does a fine job in the meantime, but I'm still a long way off completing this little Team. Lovin' 'Classics' Legends though.

It just struck me that There is a high probability that Warpath is a repaint of Megatron.
Look at Huffer. How many of us would have thought he'd be an inappropriate Optimus repaint, until we saw it? And Megs has never been reused.

Oh yeah. Of course. Oh what a shame. That's totally what he'll be.

It's a VERY worrying possibility. But Megatron is the only one of the first four Legends NOT repainted yet so .... :-(
He'd work better as a Pre war Impactor

Impactor? He's not a classic G1 toy. Why would anyone want an Impactor?
(Yes I know. A repaint as Impactor would be brilliant. Oh well.)

Oh that bombshell is just superb. Look at that. That may actually be better than the original. They HAVE to give us Kickback now.

I am drooling over Powerglide and Bombshell.
If you'd have said this time last year, or this time a couple of months ago even, that I'd be drooling, actually drooling-spittle-dripping-from-the-corner-of-my-mouth, over two Legends figures I'd have laughed in your cyber-face! But now.....

Ok. Honest opinions now, Cyber pals. In a line-up of The Five. Beachcomber Seaspray Cosmos Powerglide Warpath. Would a Deluxe Warpath look out of place next to the remainder being Legends size. I'm finding it hard to decided with only three of The Five present and correct (3P stand-in for Seaspray f.y.i.) Generations Deluxe Warpath is MAGNIFICENT, and quite possibly the best G1 updatey figure we've had. Can I really do away with it? Any yet... and yet.... would he be too big in deluxe next to four Legends?!?! WHAT'S A GIRL TO DO?!?!

Honestly in that lineup, powerglide is the odd looking one, sizewise. Should at least be deluxe, if not voyager.

I don't tend to worry about these things. Transformers toy-lines have never bothered about maintaining a single scale - the 84 toys after all are of at least three different scales from 1:1 on down - so I don't feel bound to do so myself. I tend to make my judgements based on "what is the best rendition of the character", regardless of size. So, at the moment I am very happy with my Movie Powerglide, as a very good update of the original toy - and it doesn't worry me that he isn't a similar size to the Classics jets or anything. If you think Generations Warpath is the best rendition of Warpath you are going to get then I would see nothing wrong about having that and the upcoming Legends Powerglide. Seems fine to me.
(But then, even my Macross collection is a mix of different scales - 1/60th, 1/48, 1/55th and 1/72 (and the early Bandai Macross 7 stuff which it is probably fairer to describe as "um...we're not entirely sure)

I defer to G1 for scale, even when it doesn't make sense for alt modes, so I would want those five all the same height.

Hmmm, I hear what you're saying, Karlos, but for me it's all about 'character interaction'. The various figures I have HAVE to fit in size-wise with each other, as per my mind's eye. Certain characters demand a certain size, for the purpose of interaction. Bumblebee is small, Grimlock is big, etc. Should The Five all be the same size? As Pinwig suggests? As my own instincts suggest? Or can I get away with a deluxe sized Warpath stood next to four Legends?
(Of course if Legends Warpath turns out to be simply a repaint of Megatron, that may decided for me...)

For me, it's about what scale fits best with the character, with a hint of vehicle scale. Deluxe is perfect for Warpath. He looks great with virtually every other toy on the shelf. This same reason is why I say Powerglide is terrible, because he just looks rediculously dinky with the deluxe aerialbots. Legion: great for tapes, micromasters Legend: great for insecticons, wheelie, micromasters, slash Scout: great for Bumbles, Cliffjumper, Windcharger/tailgate, gears/swerve, beachcomber Deluxe: great for warpath, powerglide, seaspray, huffer/pipes, most autobot cars, swoop Voyager, great for optimus, snarl, slag Ultra: great for Grimlock, scorn Leader: great for sludge
It irritates me that they don't use scouts anymore, and it also irritates me that they don't play with the existing size ranges. See no reason why they can't make the occasional scout in the deluxe range and either balance it with more weapons/accessories, or a larger deluxe figure also in the wave. (Example for the former, hydrodive bumblebee was a true scout with a vehicle, sold as a voyager. Hypothetical example for the latter: having tankor be a HUUUGE deluxe, but not big enough for a voyager pricepoint, but rattrap be a true scout. Big dude is big, little dude is little. Budget for one helps pay for the other. )
That's how I feel about scale. What fits the character best, combined with a little bit of alt mode. Combined with keeping in mind certain things may eat up most of a toy's size: seaspray would actually end up being very short for a deluxe when you factor in his kibble mass. Same for huffer, sludge, and a few others.

Here's a thing: Legends ship in cases of EIGHT, 4 to a box up till now. Wave 1 2015 changes that, a case of FOUR, 2 to a box Wave 2 is two figures: But Wave 3 is (to out knowledge) 3 figures It's this last case that got me thinking. Yes we only know three names so that may not be the entire contents of the case. But if it is then these numbers actually tie together quite well: If each case is packed 2 per case of the new toys then there's FOUR empty slots in a Wave 2 case and TWO in a Wave 3 case which could carry EITHER one each of the previous wave's new toys or two each of the previous wave's new mould toys.

As do I. Looks soooo much better, and since I have Tailgate, I know already it's a better toy. Wish we'd gotten that as Tailgate instead.
But, the entire first wave of CWs came in at BBTS, and I have a superfluous Windcharger now I have no need for. Dispite not liking the legend seekers, Thundercracker is still Thundercracker, and thus a keeper And dispite everything I've said about how uselessly tiny Powerglide is, he still looks like a great toy on his own. And Bombshell.
But Windcharger? Urg.

Hmm prefer new Windcharger I think. RTS might be a better toy, but I never thought it made a good windcharger.
I'm all for updates, but like the distinguishing features from the originals to be carried through. Car bits on chests fail to do that.
New Windcharger looks better than Tailgate too. Bonus.

I'd offer you mine, but there's no way to get it to you before you could aquire it on your own.
If it were closer to summer, I could just slip it into Toyfu's shipment(s)
