Tailgate's head was always posible. It's just hard to turn due to crappy design/engineering.

*returns from checking out Generations Tailgate*
What the Roberts..? I had never noticed that. It's like I've gotten a whole new Tailgate toy. And that I'm an idiot.

The arms don't lock together properly on mine which hurts the insect and gun modes.
Antennae needs an exztra piece so it can ben forward in robot mode.
Needs a gun.

All the legends need guns. It's the least they can do for charging the same price for these tiny things, after killing the minicons without recycling the minicon's resouces back into the legend. A solution though is to give them the voyager's guns.
Personal opinion is Bombshell isn't half as good as Skrapnel was.

Good point about the guns, CJ. A little, gun. That's not too much to ask!
But I do love Bombshell. I find he's at least as good as Shrapnel.

I find the two of them hard to compare, despite being made very close together in essentially the same line they just seem very different. Bombshell is more cartoony, Skrapnel closer to the original toy. Skrapnel has slightly better proportions, Bombshell feels slightly squished in comparison, yet might just look better.
I really dont know which I prefer. Though if Skrapnel got released with Chrome bits It would edge it.

Powerglide is even better than Bombshell!!!!!!
Although he does have a bit of an arse flap going! But on such a small figure it doesn't really stand out.
Lovely figure. I love these figures. He's stood with Warpath, Seaspay and Cosmos AND IT LOOKS AWESOME!

It's the sight in gun mode.
What colour is the circle on your sight Ian? And do the legs hold together in jet & gun modes?

I have a light-blue sight circle, and, to be honest, his legs don't hold together that well. Add to that Bombshell's weird handle-knees that have been bothering me, and the lack of guns, well, they could do better. But only just. I freakin' love this whole range of toys, the sizes, fits in so well with my reduced Classics line up (I'm mainly talking of the Strike Planes). And despite the odd bit that could have been done better, they're top notch Transformers.

For what it is worth I would classify it as a reverse loin cloth rather than a bottom flap

Though that wont stop me adding Powerglide to my rouges gallery of bottom flapped bots.

Oh I realised there for his gun mode Big Phil, it's just a shame they're there, interfering with his otherwise excellent robot mode. His arms are tricky to fit together but I manage it. I must confess though, I haven't had them in their gun modes much, I find them rather pointless and surplus to requirement. I know they're trying to add a gimmick to make the figures more appealing, but the gun modes are so goofy they shouldn't have bothered.

What's the Bumblebee like? He looks a bit pants to me. But I could do with a BB for my Legends collection.

Bumblebee is an obersized true legend, with slightly better articulation. Useless. Stick with Classics. Cliffjumper is better because you can slap a predacon sticker on him and he makes a terrific prebeast RiD Slapper. But Bumblebee is too tiny to be useful, cant turn his head, and is a bastardization of wfc bee. Much better bees out there, like classics and mp.

I need one at that size level though. I'm a bit weird when it comes to sizes of figures. Classics looks too big next to the new Generations Legends by far (plus the eldest has spirited him away into her room of doom). He doesn't look at all G1y neither.

He looks more geewun than the legend. As for size, it's my opinion that it's the legends who got it wrong, not classics.

Yes he is. Tailgate's not quite as good, and the kibble stops him from being properly poseable, but... he's Tailgate, and I love him. (As anyone who follows me on Twitter should be aware...)

I agree with your other points. I could live without them if it was a cheap toy but not at the RRP. For the RRP it really does need those two things to justify the price point. I still like it though. -Ralph

Just realised that the engines on Powerglides legs slide down to the foot in robot mode.
Always thought it looked unbalanced. Looks perfect now. Silly me.

It probably is mainly for gun mode, but I've never transformed it in to that and it makes a world of difference to robot mode for me.
