Not 100% sure about him being Rodimus but the shape suggests he might make a good Battlecharger though.

Something that has just occured to me is the anomaly of Thundercracker in the CW line: for he has two different toys (the wee Legends one and the big Leader chap). It's odd as every other character has just one toy of them but he has two. Now this was unusual back in the day (and indeed in the original special Teams sub-line that CW is the second coming of) but not so unusual in modern TF lines (where every character has multiple toy versions at different sizes/price-points as the norm).
I wonder if this will affect sales for the expensive Thundercracker toy or not at all. Hmmm. The existence of The Two Thundercrackers does stick out like a sore thumb in CW though!

Starscream was out a year ago and he's getting a Leader too allegedly.
I'm sure Skywarp will be along to complete the Leader set.
But you're right the Thundercracker thing is a bit glaring. I believe the Legend was originally meant to be pre CW. Bear with, need to research....

Ah but we didn't get Legends Starscream in the UK. Thundercracker is the first release here of that mould. Similarly, Windcharger may be a remould but er, agh, whoever he is remoulded from didn't come out here. Bugger I can't remember his name. The wee white chap.

That was Tailgate who was redeco'd into Windcharger.

Yup here we go: tmukhub.proboards.com/post/166333/threadHe was going to be packed with Venim. They substituted Acid Storm, allegedly because the plane repaint was packed with Gears and they didn't want two blue toys together.

Hmmm. I am reminded of the need to acquire Tailgate and Swerve. Phil: do I remember there being a Japanese two-pack of them?

I have an extra Swerve and Cosmos that I ordered along with a whole other bunch of stuff from TFsource back at Christmas, if anyone is in need.
The Japanese versions are rather pretty though.

Bumblebee's arrived. He's not as bad as I'd feared, but could have been so much better with a more sensible design, ie the front wheels finishing on his lower legs/feet instead of his hands. He looks weirdly disproportional. But, he'll do for now, desperate as I was for a Bumblebee in this scale. Wonder if the mold looks any better as Cliffjumper?

Cliffjumper also makes a pretty good repurpose as prebeast Slapper.

Agree about Cliffjumper. The red does make a big difference. He also has a far less gormless looking head.
Of course Cliffjumper does have the simple added benefit of just not being Bumblebee. Instant score.

Mr J, are you aware that Slapper is another of those words that has "connotations" over here?
Think Slag. Meaning is about the same!

I am, but it's also the character's name. Never said it was a good name (unlike slag).
