In preparation for Rodimus I had a go with using a clear rubber band to hold Blackjack's fin in place on his robot mode back: The sides of the band is looped round each shoulder and the bottom of the band round the post at the base of the weapon in both pictures. This first picture shows the fin sitting in a lower position and was done by looping the top of the band round the tabs on the back of the fin. The fin sits higher here and was done by looping the top of the band round the post and through the gaps at the bottom of the fin.

Legends Shockwave ? Legends Blimey. Shockwave is a new mould and actually a gun?! It's the Bruticus link again.

With thanks to Andu who spotted this one on, with Wreck-Gar that everywhere else has missed

With a splash of red paint, or red stickers on pipes' thighs, he'd be a really good micromaster overload.

He has a beard! Which makes him awesome. But then everyone's more awesome with a beard.
Also, I said this in the other thread, because I am over-tired and over-excited:
But the most interesting one for me is Buzzsaw. A completely new mold that turns into... a tablet? Didn't expect that one at all. But the really interesting thing for me is given his depiction in MTMTE, could a slight re-engineering of Buzzsaw produce a decent Rewind? Those are, after all, some very bulky wings...

He's paired with Skylynx, so I'm wondering how he connects, because Skyreign doesn't look to have the connecting ports. Mand if he DOESN'T, then this is a missed opportunity to use the Cosmos mold.

I like the Shockwave. I'm not going to moan. But if that's Hasbro pacifying the Shockers loving masses... hmm. Need Voyager.

Shockwave is indeed a thing of beauty. He's tiny, but he's perfectly-formed. And in Legends scale means he'll go nicely with Legends Prime, Megs, etc.
Wreck-Gar I had no interest in until I saw the beard. Now I have all the interest.

That looks better. In the official image his thrusters are backwards.
Nice peeling off labels there... which raises the question, labels? since when does Generations do labels?

I'm not feeing the love for these legends. Shockwave's fun but a distraction from the fact we don't have a Generations voyagerish figure yet. Then, repaints, and I'm sorry I don't get Buzzsaw at all, maybe that'll lead to something. But.... no Beachcomber, no Kickback, no Seaspray. Sets left hanging....

It is an interesting question whether the new moulds for Legends now are focused on ones that will interact with the other sizes, as in weapons and bras for combiners or evidently new style cassettes for the titan wars leader communicators.
But it's true they only showed Wreck-gar from 2016 wave two. Plenty more legends yet to be seen for next year, and Chop Shop is a pretty nice remould to be going on with. I think they've overdone the prime mould though. It wasn't that great to start with, Huffer was a poor representation and Pipes does nothing to improve it. The only one of those that worked was the Nemesis one.

None of the new legends do squat for me. Buzzsaw isn't impressive at all. And Shockwave kills any chance we'll have for years of getting an appropriate Shockwave.

Buzzsaw looks interesting in Tank mode. There's something 5mm portish going on at the front which makes me think we don't know the whole story yet. The yellow bits at the front swing back 180 degrees and the wheels fold in allowing the sides to swing down 90 degrees to form the alt mode.

Well that's re-assuring - that's confirmed that I don't need CW Rodimus. But I do want the se- strike jets. Apart from Acid Storm. He can do one.

Alternate uses of CW Legends Hotrod
Roadhandler Excellion
...I thought this list would be a bit longer when I started. As many red cars and beasts as there are, one would think more of them would be red and orange/yellow without being Hotrod, Hotshot, or Sideburn.

I think I might use it as Chase. It's not a perfect match for the throttlebots, but I can see it being used a few times more so theres decent odds of getting a white or blue repaint too.
Butthen I thought the same about the 07 classic Bee mould, but they much preferred to rlease an endless stream of Bees.
So by that photo can we assume theres a remould to allow the weapon to work as the spoiler in robot mode?
