Had an e-mail from t'Entertainer this morning telling me that Generations Gears was in stock. It's not. what point in having stock notifiers if they wrong? It's possible they found a small number, put them on and they were gobbled up before Llamagod got there. Gears is 1 per case to 3 of Nemesis Prime, 3 x Cliffjumper and 1 x Acid Storm so you can see them going quick. I guess that's a possibility. Still bloody annoying, though.

Entertainer is the only UK shop that's had him.
You will see my Gears soon: Swerve is better

I still lack a Gears, I may just get the 2 pack from BBTS and add it to my next pile

I had to turn to ebay to obtain Gears who arrived yesterday. I didn't realise the case he was packed in was so uneven, but it explains why The Entertainer is full of Cliffjumpers and Nemises (Nemisi?).

He's in another case too (4 x Gears, 4 x Acid Storm iirc) but The Entertainer didn't get that one.
The other cases we've missed are Megatron/Starscream, Swerve/Cosmos & Tailgate/Skrapnel, all packed 4/4

The only legend I am looking for from the Generations line now is a Cosmos.

BBTS, if you buy it with a Swerve or without the Minicon

Gears isn't worth the hassle. The mould isn't him and as was pointed out with photoshops at the time, the head could have been far better than it is.

Gears is better in person but the head really was a poor effort.

Gears isn't worth the hassle. The mould isn't him and as was pointed out with photoshops at the time, the head could have been far better than it is. The problem with they head is it's affected by the way that Swerve transforms. Just wouldn't work properly for a full width Gears head.

Yeah kinda damned my own opinion with faint praise there.

Yeah, but there was a cracking Photoshop done of how it could work without changing the physical space the head took, just remoulding the features on that area to make it look wider.

Right, tidying up finished. We'd (I'd!) got confused between Legends and Legends which I only discovered when I moved the Gears head discussion in! Gears: is there a way to make the central panel his face and alter the sides to be the sides of his helmet? The sides need to be separate from the face due to the transformation so bellow wouldn't work: Psychoshi on the 2005 boards has had a go at using Photoshop to correct the problems with Gears' head.... and done a damm fine job. We're still running into trouble at the top though even if we do fix the sides!

The toy does feel more bumblebeeish than it does rodimus.

Throttlebots for me. They were essentially a continuation of the minibot line so if Hasbro plan to complete those they might as well do throttlebots while they are at it.

Oh gods. That Rodimus/Blackjack mode *could* work as a Goldbug. And you know, from the MP threads, that I'm all about the Goldbug. I'd be all over Throttlebots! Do it, Hasbro! Are you listening?
Probably not. Not here, anyway.

I'm a huge fan of these figures. I wish they'd fill some of the voids though. Taking too long. The lack of Beachcomber and Kickback in particular for me are becoming Open Wounds.
