Well, this version has details sculpted in, and is actually visually interesting to look at.

Yeah, they've really gone all in on that Shockwave mould. It's a nice wee figure.
I have stopped to wonder now how many versions of Buzzsaw I actually need. All the love the dude got back in the day was a Waspinator repaint in 1996, and now there have been three (Masterpiece, Fall of Cybertron and Combiner Wars) with totally different interactions with totally different tape-carrier-chaps in the last 3 years.
Ah well. He's only wee. At least it's not a new Omega Supreme every 12 months.

Beast Machines Buzzsaw and FK TM Waspinator say "Hello Nick!" Buzzsaw looks sooooo much better than before with the panels pulled back from the wings and the legs clearly visible. Shockwave's great, but I will need the clear purple one too. I've said all along Chopshop needs new mandibles www.tfu.info/1985/Decepticon/ChopShop/chopshop.htmAs for the rest: Rumble is Eject, Ravage is Stripes and Wheelie is probably T30 Legends BB

Beast Machines Buzzsaw and FK TM Waspinator say "Hello Nick!" BM Buzzsaw is BW Buzzsaw (it's a tenuous connection but a valid one) and no more related to G1 Buzzsaw than BW Inferno is to G1 Inferno. Likewise Waspinator's deco is a back door TM Buzzsaw for the BW character.

Yup if any of those moulds had ever been given decent characterisation, they would have been seriously in demand toys nowadays.

Certainly be having those three. I'm not going to turn down a Shockwave that's for sure; he'll go well with the earlier Legends that were designed for Metroplex. Here's a chunky chap though. Not quite the style I'd really woop about.
This size class doesn't get a huge amount of remoulding usually for repaints so what will Shockwave reappear as? Who else turns into a large gun? New head to make a Galvatron?

I still miss the "Heroic Predacon" Buzzsaw concept.
The thing I absolutely hated MOST about BM was the intentional neglect of the existance of the Predacons. Hasbro wrongly believing kids 8-13 were too stupid to understand the concept of a third faction that is already established, and now working proudly with former enemies to combat a greater evil. Especially when the previous series painted worlds of gray in the Maximal/Predacon cold war, and already set up that not every predacon was a thug or criminal. And the show ignoring their existance to the point they sound outright racist: Optimus constantly saying "We have to save those maximals!" (Where changing "maximal" to "transformers" or "cybertronians" would have made a world of difference. Beast Machines gets way more flak than it deserves, but hasbro and bob skir pretending the predacons don't exist all together was an absolutely terrible choice.

New head to make a Galvatron? I'd say Galvatron is unlikely... But hell. We now have a legends Thundercracker sharing shelf space with a leader Thundercracker, with both representing the same basic design (to varying degrees of success). And FP has announced a botcon remold before the retail version has been made available. So, I don't know what's likely anymore.

I gotta say Energon Sixshot seems more appropriate for botcon or the club. Hasbro's direction lately seems like they would consider G1 Sixshot too important to let the name go to a name reuse character (unless they were trying to resecure the name). I'd think they's save the name for a large scale G1 Sixshot homage.
But then hell, shockwave is considerably more important than Sixshot *ever* was, and the only classics (g1) Shockwave we've ever gotten is this dinky little thing. So who knows, anymore?

Shockwave could be interesting retool territory.
Or, like Cosmos, a rare "use once" toy.
I hope he's carried over to the next wave. He's going to be popular.

If that's the only reference to the running change that's pretty clearly referring to the chest plate piece for Bruticus.

Yeah. Onslaught will have a running change. Shockwave seems much more the case of "hand painted testshot" looking different than the actual toy.

I quite clearly recall both seeing commentary and pictures of running changes for two upcoming CW toys: Onslaught and Shockwave from either Botcon or SDCC reports. I saw two Shockwaves! I'm not going mad!!!

This week's Transmissions podcast rumours (well, last week's, I'm always a week behind with this one): Next bit would be interesting if true - Scrounge repaint from Legends Cosmos. Oh they'd better be right about that - I'll be cross if they're not. That's not the kind of thing you tease about! ;-)

Scrounge is the true hero of Marvel TF! Scrounge would be awesome. I'll take that. But given the transformation I can't see them being able to get the head remoulded which is what is really iconic about that character.
