Fit in with CHUG?

This scale come in around 3.5 inches.
I think these newer ones are designed to fit in with the current Deluxes & Voyagers, but Crazy thinks they're a bit small for that. Apart from the Insecticons.

Bombshell is great. A little turned off by the cannons for arms, especially since they play no part in the alt mode. I think they go under the toy and form turbines/jet engines at the back. Powerglide looks good, but way too undersized. I'll stick to U. Powerglide Which version have you got? Windcharger looks terrible. I like him, but we disagree on Tailgate so I was expecting us not to be on the same page here. Still at least the front of the car isn't over his chest this time!

Cliffjumper looks much better than the Bumblebee he comes from. I'm starting to think it's actually impossible to produce a good looking Bumblebee.

Windcharger looks better than Tailgate, but still doesn't look anything like Windcharger should. Way too top heavy.

IMO, no. They're about chest high to a true scout. Waist high to a deluxe. Edit: Left to right. Deluxe, cyberverse commander, gen legend and minicon, cyberverse legion

Thanks for the pics, CJ. I think this size will fit well for Insecticons in my minds eye.
Skrapnel ordered!

Please tell me you've got Swerve, Cosmos, Skrapnel & Tailgate Ian! I don't!!! I'm happy with my 3P Cosmos and decided against Tailgate snd Swerve. Shrapnel/Skrapnel I hesitated over for a loooong time. I want some Insecticons for my CHUG collection, but wasn't sure they'd fit aaaaand I'm moving more towards the MP crowd. But mainly, if I'd have had just one Insecticon it'd driven me bonkers. But now there's two?!?! Well that's different. Let's hope a Kickback is in the works.

Aha! The Wal*Mart version that we didn't get over here thank you ASDA! I had the Japanese version which while less acurate looks nice with the red arms Why it wasn't red to start with..... They did go overboard with this mould in a short space of time: Grey Japanese Red Wal*Mart Red Stormcloud And yet still no purple/dark blue version as a Cobra Rattler..... well hopefully the new Legends version can deliver the goods there!

Wow. I'm not too fussed about Nemesis Prime and Cliffjumper, but look at Powerglide! And Bombshell! They're brilliant. I'll be getting those, for sure. As I will Thundercracker, too, just for completeness. Provided, of course, that his minicon companion is Buster the dog. It better damned well be Buster the dog.

Yeah, Powerglide and Bombshell are the only ones that interest me here. (Does this mean Hasbro have the rights to Bombshell back? No more Bombshock or Hardshell?) The scout Windcharger from the other year is damn near perfect, so this guy feels like the same kinda step back that the new Optimus and Megatron do. Far better versions many years old.

Ordering all of those legends. I never used to care for them, but now.. I'm the same. I scoffed at them until I picked up Air Vehicon cheap because he looked quite cool, and being totally blown away by him opened the floodgates on the whole commander/legion/legend scale. At this point the last two I got were Swerve and Cosmos, and my word are they absolutely brilliant (and I also have a full set of Beast Hunters Commanders, but they're not quite as good).

I'm with Phil on this, I can't say which is the better toy till I own the new mould, but just from photos I'm certain the new mould is a better Windcharger.

I have zero attachments to the characters of windcharger or tailgate. Had neither ever been made, i'd not even notice their absence. If i missed either, i'd not feel a hole in my collection. But I do really love the RtS Windcharger mold. It's one of my favorites. Likewise, the tailgate mold isn't half as good a toy, and too small for the character in a see of large deluxes.

See I love both characters. Had a Joustra Diaclone Windcharger when I was younger and always loved the Tailgate repaint - hasn't he got a b&w UK appearance?
As I said above I like RTS Windcharger and would have loved RTS Tailgate.

Tailgate and Skrapnel are out now, you want to get them. Indeed. Was hoping for another cheap purchase from Amazon but they already seem to be past that point. I'm just lining up another order, they have a good number of cheap Generations I don't yet have and prices are coming down regularly. Scoop and Centuritron are 10 dollars now and Rhinox is 18. Trigger finger is getting itchy and the Legends will probably get chucked in too.

It is tempting it has to be said, but as I've said before - Amazon's very cheap postage and built in import vat mechanism means other sellers have to go incredibly cheap to make them better value overall. I worked out before that even at $16 a figure, Amazon is cheaper than the $35 for all four from BBTS.
Still... the pile of loot option does help with that for order combos.
