Has anybody noticed that on the pictures, Soundblaster's chest is blue? I hope this is corrected to red for the release.

Yeah, as Phil says it was in the promo pics. I just wanted something to make it special.

One bonus for me is that the original Devy I own is mostly Mexican, so at least I can lick the reissue without worrying about lead based paints.

I have never heard of or seen a chromed head gun for Devastator, always been green. Nice to see if it does exist, maybe it's from Diaclone or a KO?

I remember hearing that there were different coloured eyes depending on region. The gift set I got back in the day had yellow, but someone asked me if they were red because they never heard of a UK release for the giftset.

That's cos there wasn't one. It suggests yours is a grey import, possibly a Mexican (1985) or Chinese (1990) one. When did you get it ?

Sometime between the two. BUt mine was definitely the giftset, it was definitely complete with all Devatstator bits, had all the english garb on the pakaging and instructions, and has no colour variations from every photo of the toy I ever saw.

Is most confusing so it is. We still have the bugger on display.

I remember seeing the individual Constructicons in 1985/86 on a market stall in Newark. I was all ready with my pocket money but a friend of my mum's had read about the lead paint and I wasn't allowed to get any of them!

Still, the WHSmith across the road did grace me with a Blast Off instead.

Nope, he retains his unmatched wing pieces right up until the time that he was passed from my collection into other hands. For all I know he could remain fairly unique in configuration.

In Singapore right now. It was me who asked the question at Takara panel about Encore Fort Max and Artfire.

The smiled, nervous laugh, conferred with the chief exec guy, then said, there are no plans for Inferno repaint, but we want to do Fort Max next year for the anniversary.

Got a big pop from the crowd too.

Sound wave & Shoclkwave MPs were: we know they're popular watch this space, cant confirm anything now, but Fort Max was: we want to do it.

It is so happening, could tell by their body language.
