I remember why I didn't order it now. I'd recently acquired Nucleon Quest Convoy and didn't feel the need to duplicate the mold in my collection. It was also available in TRU here at the time, but I think that version had different windows on the cab or something?

The only difference between the western Apex Armour PM Prime and God Ginrai is the size of the missile.

The Japanese Ginrais and reissue PM Prime have a different, metal, cab with clear blue windows, different arms, with slide out fists and different coloured cannons to the original PM Prime version

Apparently so.

The last one was Max in 2013 tfwiki.net/wiki/Transformers_Encore

However there were a number of G1 reissues in the Platinum line that you can still find in many TRUs now:

Astrotrain & Blitzwing
Insecticons
Thrust, Dirge & Ramjet
Perceptor, Blaster, Eject, Ramhorn & Steeljaw
Trypticon

Its a recolour of Blitzwing and Astrotrain that's in the Platinum boxset.

Alright John! A1 toys had the set reduced to £40 on their stall at TFN and seemed to be struggling to sell any but they're still £70 on their website. I'm also pretty sure somebody was selling the set for £30 at Roll Out. The colours are random and the build quality is apparently a bit poor so they haven't been a hit with fans so I'd definitely not pay more than 40 if I was you. You could probably pick up the old collection box edition of Blitzwing for about 40 - I think Hitchens had one.

Wait what? Trypticon??? Totally missed that when I read your post the first time around, Phil. Always wanted one! Amazon have him for £90 - what's a decent price?

That's a decent price. I paid £160 and TRU wanted more than that at one stage.

If you've ever owned Gigastorm you've not seen nothing till you get all the spinning guns and radar dishes attached.

It was down to, I think, 75 with one dealer at TFN (if anybody else who was there can remember: it was one of the guys at the back of the hall in the row that was facing the very last row and on the right of the centre if you were facing the back of the hall. Next to that Ras guy who was selling the prototypes).

Even if you can figure out who it was, they'll probably charge for shipping so if it's free delivery on Amazon it will probably work out similar. I wouldn't wait for next year's cons as it doesn't seem as abundant as the other platinums.

I have just clarified this matter IE GOD Fire Convoy = Super Fire Convoy + God Magnus.
